Great controller, until the bumpers start acting up. Started with the left bumper then moved to the right. Possible software issue cause it changes between them. Only one works perfect while the other needs a very hard press to recognize it’s being used. Still have my previous elite 1 controller and it still works perfectly. Kinda disappointing.

Great improvement on the last gen! The grips are much more durable and the controller looks great. However, already having to hard press the RB to work, after only a year of use. When customers spend that kind of coin, we want everything to work for more than a year.

Everything is improved on this controller from the first generation. Great matte finish and sturdy enough for long gaming session. Rubber grips can still be improved.

My son requested this and loves it. I was hesitant to spend the money but he’s very happy with it

Best controller I’ve ever owned and definitely love the updated look and feel. I can’t see myself ever using the regular controller ever after owning this.

Buy at your own risk. I bought this controller a year ago. The first one I got had an inconsistent A button. I returned it for a replacement to Best Buy. The replacement had the same issue. I mapped the A button to another button and was able to deal with it for a while. I sent it back to MS for repair. They had it for 2 weeks when it came back, same issue. Then it started to just turn off in the middle of a game. This happens at least once a week now even when the controller has a full battery. This would be a great controller if it wasn't so unreliable. I will say when the controller works it is great. Best controller I've ever used, unfortunately it doesn't always work.

Work good for about 6 months and they typically get stick drift or buttons internally end up sticking even with consistent care. The price does not align with the actual value.

I think it is a big step up from the last Elite controller. Fit and feel is great and so is the responsiveness of it. I wish the price was a bit less though...

I will only buy my controllers from Best Buy utilizing the Geek Squad 2-year warranty, because they will not last that long anyways. This is my third Elite Controller. The others failed due to irreversible stick-drift. For such an uber expensive item, I wish they would address critical failures like stick-drift and button sticking. If not for that, I’d give it 5 stars.

Xbox Controller was excellent and been using long time. Easy to use and long life battery charge.
