The best go to for Xbox Controllers
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Classic heavy-built controller. Paddles are a little wiggly but perform perfectly. I love the case, magnetic charger, and stick replacements. Long battery life and insane customization for stick and trigger function.

Nothing else compares
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.*Will update this review at 6 months First impression is that nothing else compares. This is my first elite controller and after holding the original xbox controller, the difference is felt right away. I dont own an xbox, so i use this while playing on PC. With that being said, the ability to remap pretty much any button to any function you would normally use on keyboard on to the controller, is phenomenal from a quality of life perspective. Construction is sturdy, and the textured rubber grips that wrap around where you hold gives a next level of comfort. Being able to adjust the tension and force needed to move the joystick is a great feature. The soft-touch face is nice, but i can see this becoming a fingerprint magnet. Buttons are nice and tactile, and all the changeable parts are magnetic so you wont have to worry about snapping anything. A huge plus is the carrying case which doubles as a charging station via usb-c, and a holder for other accessories (the charging dock inside can also be used independently from the case). A few cons, though its a bit nit-picky are the length of the paddles. This isnt too big of a deal, but i had to readjust my grip and how i hold the controller to press the paddles on the back without my fingers interfering one another (i have medium-large hands). A USB dongle to connect the controller to pc is not included and would have to be ordered separately, which can be a con to some. The longevity of this controller is yet to be seen from personal experience, as i have read reviews of this controller being DOA, buttons not working after a few months, or the terrible stick drift. Honestly, i don't see myself buying another controller after this as this is truly the ultimate device for handheld/controller gaming. Is it worth the upgrade from an original controller? For my application, yes! Should you buy it? Depends on what you're looking to do with it.

The Honest Review
|Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] I've had elite controllers since day 1 so I'll be very honest about the controller itself without being biased in any way. The controller is a great upgrade from the regular one but it does comes with its downsides. One being the build quality over time, the controller seems to deteriorate at a quick amount of speed after a lots of use. I've had many with stick drift out of the box more frequently compared to buying a normal controller, bumpers wear out and give way and buttons do as well. That's the bad but the good is ease of use, the button mapping with the pads and their feel of how nice and metal they sound when you click them. The way you can personalize the sticks heights, and dead zone, and the actual app used for it is very intuitive. Overall, it depends on you if you need to upgrade for whatever circumstances you're in but the price tag is very costly given how the issues i presented do seem to kind of not make it a somewhat justifiable purchase but I'll leave that up to y'all

Works great so far!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the best xbox controller. Best feel in the hands, love the paddles, long battery life, and charging case. Downside is that theyre known to have problems a year or so down the road. Not a problem with my Total Tech subscription. You get a free two year protection plan. So I’ll get a new one if this one if starts giving me problems. In the meantime, best controller by far I’ve played with.

Excellent Controllers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The weight of the controller is perfect, and the black textured grips are a nice aspect of the controller. They charge fairly quickly as well, and the braided extra-long charging cables are of good quality. Overall, these are the best Xbox controllers I have ever experienced in all my years playing since the original rollout of the OG Xbox console back in 2001. Originally, I was a bit iffy about the price as I was purchasing two in total, but honestly it is proving to be a worthy investment overall. Very pleased with my purchase.

Battery last very long... for days. Comfortable on my hands. Quality is very durable. Feels better than the standard xbox controller.

So So
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's okay. I love the weight and how it feels in the hands. I wish there was something that explained the button mapping more on the app. It claims to have all of these configurations, however I think that it boils down to the paddles are tied to the main buttons so they are not additional buttons they are just replacement buttons. What good is having two of the same button? That is lame

PC gamer here
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use a controller for PC and I had a normal controller, then a normal elite and its charging port finally gave out and decided to try this guy out. Ive had it for about almost 2 weeks now and it is the best/most comfortable controller I have owned, also I think my normal Elite was just worn out because this one drastically improved my running game in Madden 21 on PC and my aiming in COD. The feel is nice and grippy and has a nice weight. All the customizations are awesome as well. Overall improvement to the original!

Quality controller that you cannot go wrong
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit hesitant to buy this, especially because of the pricing. Wasn’t sure if the price was gonna make it up or feel any different than any regular controller I used but I was so wrong. You can feel a difference in a quality controller. I love the case it comes with and the customization is great. Need to play a few hours with it to change it to your settings. Charging battery is a lot better as well and the pads make it easier to play more competitive if that’s what you want.

Quality of life for FPS
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've really been enjoying this controller. The rechargeable battery was something I'm glad this came with. I like the old 360 thumb sticks which this comes with an assortment of different ones. The D-pad pictured in the advertisement is nice for fighting games but you can switch that out too. The only real issue I've had is with the paddles on the bottom. You'll need to train your muscle memory to accept them. Overall, they are the better way to play. Do yourself a favor and disable the x y a b buttons in the menus on the XBox/PC. The controller is heavy compared to the standard ones. It's solid and the grip is awesome. You'll need to relinquish that death grip most people play with in order to get accustomed to the paddles. Another thing is that the paddles are great for reassigning buttons like the Thumbstick - To - Run assignment most Call of Duty games have. Sea of Thieves does this. Again it's relearning how to walk, run, and jump. When you finally get it, your K/D ratio will increase dramatically, ie you are no longer taking your thumbs off the movement sticks to hit buttons. Some of the more advanced features are not explained like cording several buttons together for special commands.

I’ve my Elite controller!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace an older elite controller that was drifting. Unfortunately that is the life of the elite controllers, sooner or later they will start to drift. But I love them, no other better controller for me.

Excellent gaming controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is sturdy, responsive, works great. The new design that uses rechargeable batteries and included charging stand, is a much improved feature over prior generation that used a cable to power the device. Prior design also ran on alkaline batteries, but constantly had to replace them, costly. The rechargeable batteries last long time between charges. No cons with the new design. Little pricey, but worth it. Make sure to purchase extended warranty, helps reduce replacement cost down the line.

Had no idea what I was missing out on.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic controller! Been eyeing this one for a while now, and decided that while I'm waiting for the Series X to get back in stock I'd finally treat myself to the controller. I haven't weighed the controller, but I'd estimate it's maybe 40-50% heavier than a standard controller, which is nice to me. The finish looks better than the standard controller and is more "stealth" matte in appearance, and the rubberized grips really do form a subtle grip to my hands within a few minutes (my hands don't sweat during gaming sessions, your mileage may vary). I removed the two lower paddles for the time being and have the two upper paddles set for "sprint" and "reload/interact" in the first profile. It's nice to not take my thumb off of the right stick to tap X to reload. I haven't experimented with the other stick options yet, but I did put the normal D-pad selector on (they're magnetic, so simply pop one off and put the other on). The round D-pad just didn't feel natural, and in both cases the D-pad click is much more definitive and audible than a standard controller...it's the only nitpick I have, but I can live with it. My box does have a FST-00001 label on it, but the manufacturing date puts it in the early part of October 2020. I don't know if Microsoft just gave up on the FST-00008 labels or not, and the Best Buy guys I posed the question to didn't know what I was talking about. They were surprised when I pointed out the model number on the shelf tag didn't match the one on the box. I haven't perceived any of the quality issues that plagued the earlier controller models (no stick drift, bumper feel solid, all LEDs work), so hopefully all will be well. All in all, I like it. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks or so, and when I pick up a plain old regular controller, my middle fingers instinctively look for the paddles, and only then do I realize how accustomed I am to the controller already.

Not so "elite"
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been buying these controllers for years. They perform very well and feel great in your hands. The biggest problem is they get stick drift within months of heavy use. I buy 2 of these every year. Other than that its an awesome controller.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best controller you could ever buy for Xbox and pc. Would be 5 stars, except the bumpers can’t seem to last longer than a couple of years. Definitely get the replacement plan on it. Other thank that, it’s comfortable, solid, highly customizable and extremely precise.

Great product, Better warranty
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic product, I use it every single day and have had absolutely zero problems with controller updates, movement on screen, and connectivity. The customization of the controller is fantastic and the price is well worth the gaming experience. As an added bonus, the 2 year warranty Best Buy provides for this product is the exact reason I chose to shop with Best Buy in the first place. 10/10
