Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the product's great overall performance, impressive battery life, and extensive customization options. They also frequently praise its comfortable grip, good weight, and responsive feel. However, a significant number of customers have reported issues with stick drift developing quickly and concerns regarding the durability of the buttons, including the bumpers. Despite some initial hesitation about the price, the positive attributes like its overall comfort and useful paddles generally contribute to a positive user experience.

    Stick dead zones are horrible

This controller was so bad I had to leave a review. The first elite controller is superior by far than this one, aside from build quality. The dead zone on the sticks was horrible. I thought my gameplay was off because I was on a newer controller but it appears that this is a common issue according to the support sites as well as Reddit. I’ve tried adjusting settings of the controller and my game to no avail. I’ve had this controller for less than 12 hours and it’s getting returned tomorrow. Hope this review helps.

Excellent cotnroller. Just be aware thst it does not bring the paddles for the back so if you dont have any extra ones youll be missing out. I have the elite in black with the accessories so i had two extra ones luckily.

Returning! Major product issues for PC gamers

I am returning my xbox elite series 2 controller due to the following known issues which Microsoft has not fixed: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox/forum/all/both-xbox-botton-and-a-botton-can-open-xbox-game/1e80c4c0-3423-40cc-97eb-d9d16994fa1c Imagine how annoying it is for the Xbox Gaming Console to pop up on your PC every time you hit the A button https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox/forum/all/xbox-elite-2-windows-10-wont-connect-after-using/fe07334e-60e0-4134-ad4c-b0a1b4b90bee Basic functionality. After I unplug it, go back to bluetooth. Maybe it works fine for the Xbox console, but it is not/NOT ready for PC gamers.

A year of use-we can say this isnt worth the money

We purchased this on May 26, 2021. My son Jacob Loved it but it only lasted a little more than a year, My son has Muscular Dystrophy and cannot use it too much or too hard due to his muscle weakness. Plus we moved in November of 2021 so he didn't use it for almost 2 months out of that year. IMO this is controller doesn't last the test of time- after all I still have an Atari Joysticks that work after 30+ years so I would expect this to work for a few years. If this was any good they would offer a better warranty Period- say 3 years instead of 1 year.

Pieces of junk! Controller drift in every controller Xbox knowingly allowed defective controllers to go out. They’re facing a class action lawsuit. Buy a scuff if you want a controller like this. Terrible.

Great controller. I’ve had one of these since the first series released. By far the best controller on the market but the durability could be better. I just always purchase a protection plan and it’s well worth it!

Went through 2 controllers already. First controller had a horrible drift after 2 months and then the 2nd controller RB is already skipping after 1 month. These controllers are built from legos. What a joke

I think by now we all know that just about 100% of these controllers have joystick drift. I hated to have to return this controller because of the outside build quality and materials used, but in the end if it can't function properly as a controller then it's useless. Not sure if there will be a new batch or version without these issues but this generation of controllers is the equivalent to the Xbox 360 in terms of Microsoft trying to sneak defects past consumers.

Best X box controller. Being able to customize the buttons is fantastic. I have never been able to use the stick click functions on a regular controller. Being able to map them to the buttons on the back is great

    Great, but eventual stick drift

I’m on my 10th or so Xbox elite series 2 controller. They are great until they are not, which is why I have had so many. They usually start getting stick drift around 6-10 months in with normal use (avg 3-5 hour gaming sessions about 3-4 times a week). I always get the Best Buy protection and just come swap for a new one after it starts drifting, and just buy a new plan for the replacement knowing it’s going to happen to that one too. Wish they would upgrade these to TMR sticks to eliminate the drifting issues and this would be hands down the best controller to game on.

I mean overall its a good controller BUT this thing breaks so much. Been through 2 of them in 2 years and they make you buy the warranty again. I should just be able to continue on with my old warranty, costs $70 each time! Debating if I should purchase the warranty again or just have them replace it with a new one. I never throw my controllers or hit them either. 1st one the AUX input stopped working and the 2nd one that I am now the left bumper is unresponsive at times. 50% chance it works whichs is extremely annoying.

I have been gaming for a long time. This is the first time I have ever bought a second hand ( refurbished gaming controller for the Xbox series X ) My order arrived quickly with the package in good condition. Although upon opening it up. Allowing it to get a significant amount of charge in it. Powered the controller on and I immediately realized that the right bumper was not responding as it should
