Disclaimer, I know nothing about gaming, but apparently I did well! He absolutely loves it! I love the durability of it, considering he can be an angry gamer at times haha

The paddles are great if you have finger/thumb issues like I do. There are basically no good wireless aftermarket options outside of this; the Scuf controller is wireless, but it runs on AA batteries, which I don't want to deal with.

The additional grip and mappable buttonsnin single player as well as multiplayer games is just an incredible feature. Great build quality, customizable, definitely worth getting when on sale

Some nice improvements on the original, especially the internal long lasting battery and adjustable thumb stick tension. That being said, I unfortunately got one with somewhat busted thumb sticks. Super jangly and loose, noticeably more so than my old and well worn elite series 1. I guess some controllers leave the factory better than others. I’ll be using my geek squad to grab a new one.

Like most xbox controllers it will eventually have stick roaming but if you catch it onsale buying it once a year and a half or so it isnt bad if you are a daily user like me.

Opinion on Elite Series 3 Controller

I would just recommend getting warranty though because it’s just a matter of time when the controller will have some sort of malfunction mechanic going on. But overall it’s a good controller.

Bestbuy exchanged it for free. Not sure if it’s because I’m a total tech member or not. I am tho. I had this one for a few weeks. I will update. Other then it falling apart. It does the job. I use it wired, can’t say anything about battery life. I would buy again because I use the paddles on it.
