The paddles add extra customizable features that only this controller offers. It's expensive, but well worth the money.

Almost a necessity

So i advise being careful, because the joystick can be prone to drifting. Other than that it feels wonderful in the hands. It gives an extra level of precision and feedback. That once you've gotten used to it there is no going back.

Innovative to out of date

But now there are better more reliable options on the market. If you don't need the back paddles the regular Xbox controller actually has lower (better) input latency than this controller. 7ms vs 14ms, defiantly makes a difference when playing anything online competitively. I would only buy this control for its comfort in hand factor and for playing single player games now days. Also lots and lots of QC issue with button actuation.

Makes gaming extremely easier. FPS games is the best with this controller. If set up right you never have to move your thumbs off the analog sticks.

I repaid his hard work and dedication to his college studies with this top of the line controller. He is extremely happy with it.

I literally can’t play any game without this controller. Buy this and you’ll never play with another controller... ever. I have had this for almost 1 year and there was some very small stick drift but Microsoft sent me a new one under warranty. Recommended.

Finally a controller thank doesn’t keep breaking

I think they use better parts for the Elite controller because it has held up a lot better than the standard Xb1 controller. I love the texture added to the palm area. The only downside about this item is the price but I guess you get what you pay for.

Only complaint is it disconnects randomly. Seemingly when I’m playing zombies and then I die. Microsoft hasn’t issued a patch yet but I’d imagine it’s a software issue as it’s not a range/obstruction issue cuz I’m 5 feet from the dock/Xbox.

Weighs 2 to 3 times more than the other controller but when it comes to things I handle yhey have to survive usage. This controller is durable, effective, has trigger locks and multiple button presses
