Other than the stick drift after a while while playing mw3 its a pretty good controller. Definitely worth the buy if you want extra buttons switchable thumb sticks.

You won’t want to go back and if you don’t like the finger buttons under, you can remove them. It’s great to be able to charge it via USB-C and not have batteries / battery packs Hands down the best controller and can’t wait for PlayStation’s version soon either. Well worth it and if you’re thinking about getting it, just do it

MS is pretty quick (7ish days on average from sending back to receiving your replacement) and I cannot play on other Xbox controllers anymore, and it makes the cool PS% dual sense feel like it's just lacking features. I HIGHLY recommend you buy the 2 year replacement plan from BB. For hassle free replacements.

I love the textured grip where your palms rest, as well as the additional accessories you get vs the Series 1. For example. there's now a 360 style pop on joystick that's noticeably bigger/rounder than Xbox One's and I LOVE IT! I've missed the bigger/larger sticks so getting this back is welcomed. I just wish they'd make the 360 larger sticks with the textured grip on the rim of it like the Xbox One's sticks so I could have the best of both world's lol. No complaints though!

Only problem, is the issues these controllers tend to develop. Personally, I have gone through at least half a dozen of these controllers since they debuted. Stick drift is a gaurentee. Pretty smooth out of the box, but eventually, they'll break in and its not pretty. Bumpers usually are the next to fail. Haven't had issues with the series 2, as far as rubber grips peeling off. Microsoft has been aware of these issues for quite some time. Doesn't seem like they care, even with the looming class-action lawsuit over these contollers. For the price point, I wouldn't say these are worth it. Only reason i bought another one over the Turtle Beach Stealth, is the elite can still accomadate for the M80 mixamp for Astro A40's. For a little extra $, get something with Hall-effect sticks. They dont break as easy.

While Scuf controllers (among other brands) may have slightly better build quality, the price-to-quality is arguably better in the Elite 2 Controller. All the accessories are very well-built and the paddles are great.
