If you want to be in the game, then the elite series 2 controller is for you. I did have the black one and the rubber is coming off it. I had it for 3 years with moderate game play. So, I picked up the blue one for a very reasonable price. Once you go elite, I doubt if you ever go back to other controllers. If you can, get one and get it on sale.

Love the ability to map the controler to my liking, able to connect it to my PC via bluetooth or hardwire.

Amazing controller, not one issue I’ve encountered from other reviews. Controller feels great, buttons are responsive and I love the versatility of changing the sticks and it’s tension! Would recommend for future buyers.

This is the second one that I've gotten in the past 2 years. I`m not impressed for the amount of money you spend you would think they would make Better.

Love this controller compared to the regular ones, also the internal battery pack is awesome and lasts forever before having to charge.

The grips feel way better and it feels like it’s just better made than the previous series. The battery life has been amazing. I’m a streamer and play a good amount but so far this controller has been nothing but great. I wish it came with 2 of the tall thumbsticks instead of 1 and the paddles on the back are smaller than the series one but luckily I just transferred the larger paddles over since I had the series one. Thumbsticks however are a different size attachment so you can’t transfer those over. Like I Said so far the controller seems like a big improvement but we’ll see how the durability holds up and I wish they gave us another large thumbsticks and the paddles were slightly bigger.

Great controller. The colors are way better when holding it in hand. The top buttons and triggers are a very nice metallic shade of red. If you don't like the new d-pad, you can switch it out cheaply and easily with traditional cross-type ones since the d-pad and analog joysticks are magnetically attached.

If youre an avid gamer you definitely need this controller. I will never go back to regular controller. It is a bit expensive though

Love it. Lame it doesn’t come with all the bumpers for the extra buttons. That “kit” is another $50 or junky stuff on amazon

Works very smoothly with windows devices and the steam games application. Pairs easily and works seamlessly.

I think these are a great alternative to the Elite Pro. If you're just looking for a nice rechargeable controller with the ability to upgrade what you choose. Still, the Pro has all the bells and whistles and that nice case! I doubt you'll be disappointed with either/or.
