Customers are saying
Customers express satisfaction with the product's great overall performance, impressive battery life, and extensive customization options, along with its comfortable feel and good weight. However, a significant concern among users is the prevalence of stick drift and issues with button quality, particularly with the bumpers and A button. The price is also a point of hesitation for some.

Grandchildren approved
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Grandchildren enjoy the faster responsiveness of this series. They seem quite impressed. For me? Way overpriced.

It is what it is
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good controller for FPS games. Not that much use for anything else. Not really worth the hype for the price but does add some nice features like profiles and the RGBW home button.

Good for a year or so.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really an amazing controller... for the first year or so. The combination of the balanced weight, texturized grip, and upgraded button placements, with traditional xbox shape and feel, truly makes this a great investment for mid to high end gaming, or just to bump up your game play. This was my first upgrade from a normal controller and can never go back. The sad part, is this is my 3rd controller. After about a year or so, some of the buttons stop working, thus making it useless.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything about it is near perfect, except the lower-right paddle slot; When the paddle is seated as best as possible, there is a generous amount of play.

Stick drift
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It comes out of the box with stick drift, albeit can be fixed by setting a .1 dead zone. No other controller I’ve had needs this high a dead zone to work in fps games brand new. Controller is great for rpg’s, but get another option if you mainly play fps. Other than stick drift, the build quality is excellent. Back buttons are perfect. Customization options are 2nd to none. The drift was just a dealbreaker for me.

My Third Defective Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd defective controller. My first one lasted 5 months and the right trigger started grinding and not pressing correctly, I had that one sent to microsoft since I purchased my first one through them, and am waiting for it to be fixed. I just bought another one through best buy, and when I recieved it in the mail, the controller sounded like it had broken bits of plastic inside moving around, So today it was exchanged but they only had red, so I had to pay 11+ dollars extra for the difference just to get an exchange. Geek squad checked the new controller to confirm it was a good one without problems. When I tried it at home the joysticks sound like there is sticky residue inside them, and when I press down on the joysticks and rotate them, they get stopped in rotation by some internal defect that doesn't allow them to rotate as they should, and when I use the left one and aim to the bottom left side and try to click in, it simply will not press in. These controllers are plagued with defects right out of the box, with zero quality control what so ever, and even geek squad missed this defect and said it was a good controller. I will be returning this product plus the 2 year extended warranty I bought for it, which is needed for these controllers because they WILL break eventually if not already defective right out of the box. $130 for the white one, $140 for the colored ones. an xbox series s is 250$ This controller is half the cost of a CONSOLE, yet has the worst quality control I have ever seen at 37 years old, and gaming since I was a kid. If you get a defective controller, don't let Microsoft get away with it, return it immediatly. It is the only way Microsoft will learn that all these returns will push Microsoft to want better quality control.

Ehh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was actually really looking forward to this controller and was fairly disappointed. One of the analog sticks became drifty within a week and the back paddles are very small. Overall the controller looks great and has many options for variability.

Solid remote. Not perfect but solid
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Near flawless control but had a small stick drift that persists today. Button layout is hard to get used to but is a somewhat quick learning curve if you’re going one button at a time

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2019 I honestly cannot find a single flaw on this controller. I’m also not quite sure how Microsoft or anyone else could top this. It is pure perfection in your hands. The price is absolutely worth it in my opinion.
