Got this for my son, as for he had the series 1 awhile back. He loves it, says it makes his gaming easier. Good for more experienced players who are on a lot, not worth it for minimal use.

Heavy but does the job. Geek Squad Protection is needed due to life spam of controller.

The features on this compared to the original are night and day. Playing shooting games it makes the hugest difference I've played with this controller for about 120 hours and it's very beneficial to have.

Picked this up as a controller for my iPad. Could not be happier!! Almost as good as playing my Xbox at home!!

Had to return it twice. Luckily I got the geek squad protection plan. Buttons start to Stick. Left and right stick loosen after a couple months. After a couple months some buttons become unresponsive. I love the concept and paddle placement but the overall quality is very poor. Would not recommend this product unless you purchase the geek squad protection plan. The controller didn’t even last a year.

Controller works well and is easy to operate. Bottom control paddles helps with game play.

Awesome does not have paddles etc but its great and easy to configure

I’m a huge fan of this controller but most people I know have had to get a new one within a year. If you buy, make sure to purchase the warranty for sure!

You'd expect an Elite Series 2 to be top-notch. Sadly it's just another over-priced piece of crap that won't even last 6 months. After 5 months of average use I started to notice a consistent forward drift in the left stick, and it's just gotten worse and more prevalent in the month since. So bad I can't play competitive online shooters at all anymore. Terrible waste of money. Wait until Microsoft has ironed out the kinks I guess? Or just don't buy their crap hardware anymore. So disappointing for the money. What sucks the most is otherwise it's a fantastic controller. But drift is an unforgivable deal breaker in what's supposed to be an elite, professional controller. Just saying it's elite clearly doesn't make it so. Save your hard-earned money.

I have purchased 2 of these controllers. One a couple of years ago, and one about a month ago. Both have had the LB button stop functioning properly. It took the first one about 6 months to fail, and the second about 2 weeks (just after return period). Outside of the LB button issue, the controller is fairly solid. Since this is a repeated issue, it has to be an issue with the components. NOT what you would expect for the price. I would recommend looking at other options in the same price point.

We had issues with normal xbox controllers where the thumbsticks would malfunction. No such issues with the Elite so far.

No difference from normal controller except longer battery life
