I had doubts about buying a open box controller but I have to say it was in really good condition no issues all the parts were there I’m definitely impressed

It was fun and all but I didn’t like it that much but I do know

I love this controller all though it took a minute for me to get used to the other triggers.

The triggers are super cheap feeling they shift to the side when you press them and make that cheap plastic squeaking noise. The regular xbox controller feels better in hand than this one and its almost 2/3 of the price cheaper.

Definitely an awesomeness of a product. My daughter loves her new controller. She loves it.

Great controller but needs better grip texture, my hands slip off

I bought this controller about 6 months ago, and right out of the package I noticed the buttons (mostly A and B) not registering when pressed. I ran the button registration tester in settings and about 2 out of every 10 presses were registering. I returned this controller thinking it was just bad luck, but the new one had the exact same problem. Now 3 months later the controller has developed the worst stick drift I have experienced in a controller. Really Microsoft? What an upgrade from the Elite 1, you guys really learned from that one. I will be exchanging once again when Best buy has one in stock. Truly pathetic. In no way is this review about Best buy! They are a great company to work with and really take care of you in cases like this. There is a reason Microsoft doesn't warranty their own pathetic products.

I buy a new one everytime mine gets worn out, only controller I’ll use

We own two of these series 2 “ elite” controllers and now this is the second time both controllers have had to be replaced in the past year due to the bumpers and/or triggers failing. Prior to this we had the first elite controllers and they had to be replaced 12 times between the 2 controllers due to the same failures. It’s funny how our $60 controllers that came with our systems are still in great order and functioning properly. I don’t think we will be buying these again. It’s disappointing to know that Microsoft can make a great system but can’t produce a controller that will last. To top it all off, Buy Buy is “out of stock” because these controllers are always failing. It’s so bad that Best Buy hiked their replacement/warranty fee for this item.

I use this controller on my PC more than my xbox, but can't go wrong with the Series 2. It just makes you better!

The items wasn't new even tho that's what it was sold to me as. Definitely refurbished. Settings for back paddles already had presets installed and the xbox light was dim. Also had brown dust on the grips and had brown/orange crush all by the charger port. Luckily they allowed me to return and get another one. Which is the other one I'm going to leave a review for after this one. If new great product, sold as refurbished should be ok. But a refurbished shouldn't be sold as new, very suspicious in my opinion.

So far so good. It definitely helps with the ability to configure buttons to each game. It’s a little pricy, but worth it if your looking for next level controls.
