Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: battery built in. upgrade to rubber design to prevent peeling (we will see), hair trigger manual instead of on console settings, all black (preference), slightly longer cord, new cord connection it’s slightly bigger than previous model, Cons: button haptics are not as crisp, button stuck within 10 days, internal battery makes it heavier as it’s not removable, all black with no accents (green & silver) which was on previous model (personal preference), does not come with two long stick options just one, doesn’t last long, 10 days old and it broke, have to use my original elite from years ago which feels so much better, lighter and responsive in hand. Unfortunately they totally stopped making the elite a couple months back. Will be getting a replacement soon and will report back periodically with updates. Hopefully with an upgrade to the star count.

The button that is used to sync it to the Xbox devices is broken so I can't sync it to any other devices now and it's stuck synced to my PC. I haven't even owned it for a year yet. It's a real shame I liked the paddles on the bottom of the controller but can't see spending another 170$ for another one.

Better grips, better triggers, adjustable joystick feedback... Just way better overall. Very pleased with it so far.
