Great design, Poor quality.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First controller I owned RB button switch failed. Now this controller has the same issue, not activating at all or double clicking. A gamers dream to select the wrong weapon while playing Fortnite. Initially I tried remapping to the button to the bottom, no big deal, just new muscle memory to learn. Then the left analog stick started drifting forward. Deal breaker. Geek squad guess who going to be visiting you soon. I never had this issue with 360 controllers. MS needs to get their act together. Personally, I have had 3 Xbox 360’s, 3 Xbox one X’s and 3 elite series controllers fail. Enough said.

Terrible
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only got this hoping the infamous stick drift would maybe not happen for a little longer than the regular xbox controllers. It's just as bad. Really dissappointing

A button not registering presses
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return two of these controllers due to the A button on both not registering all of my presses. I still have the original Xbox elite controller and it’s still working fine after 5 years. I’ll pass on this new elite controller.

It dosnt have breathable material
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My hands start sweating 15 minutes into a game with the Xbox elite series 2 controller however, it takes about an hour and a half with the Xbox standard core controller to start sweating

Unreliable
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing has failed on me twice un two years. Microsoft replaced it the first time after about 9 months of gaming maybe 4-6 hours a week. The second failure happed about 8-9 months later and each time it was the thumbstick drift. Very disappointed.

Great while it works
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pre-ordered and was eagerly awaiting its arrival as my Gen1 had finally given up after more than 2 years of service (trigger stop broke). This unit was great while it worked. The finer hair triggers were amazing. This time it only took 6 months for the trigger stop to fail. $180 controller and it only has a 3 month warranty from MS.

Microsoft has done a Terrible job with this controller the button stick after maybe a month. They’re never in stock so it’s hard to replace even if you go through Microsoft there a nightmare to deal with. I would not recommend this controller

Sticky thumb
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The right thumb stick seemed to be stuck and it’d make my character randomly do a 360. I know there is a fix that involves pulling the controllers apart but that’s unacceptable at this price. Build quality and the charging case were great tho but I had to return it due to the issue above.
