Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the product's excellent overall performance, impressive battery life, and extensive customization options, noting its comfortable feel and good weight. However, customers are negative about recurring issues such as stick drift and the durability of the buttons, which some report breaking quickly. The price is also a point of concern for some buyers.

Great controller. I’ve had one of these since the first series released. By far the best controller on the market but the durability could be better. I just always purchase a protection plan and it’s well worth it!

Pieces of junk! Controller drift in every controller Xbox knowingly allowed defective controllers to go out. They’re facing a class action lawsuit. Buy a scuff if you want a controller like this. Terrible.

Went through 2 controllers already. First controller had a horrible drift after 2 months and then the 2nd controller RB is already skipping after 1 month. These controllers are built from legos. What a joke

Best X box controller. Being able to customize the buttons is fantastic. I have never been able to use the stick click functions on a regular controller. Being able to map them to the buttons on the back is great

I think by now we all know that just about 100% of these controllers have joystick drift. I hated to have to return this controller because of the outside build quality and materials used, but in the end if it can't function properly as a controller then it's useless. Not sure if there will be a new batch or version without these issues but this generation of controllers is the equivalent to the Xbox 360 in terms of Microsoft trying to sneak defects past consumers.

I have been gaming for a long time. This is the first time I have ever bought a second hand ( refurbished gaming controller for the Xbox series X ) My order arrived quickly with the package in good condition. Although upon opening it up. Allowing it to get a significant amount of charge in it. Powered the controller on and I immediately realized that the right bumper was not responding as it should

I mean overall its a good controller BUT this thing breaks so much. Been through 2 of them in 2 years and they make you buy the warranty again. I should just be able to continue on with my old warranty, costs $70 each time! Debating if I should purchase the warranty again or just have them replace it with a new one. I never throw my controllers or hit them either. 1st one the AUX input stopped working and the 2nd one that I am now the left bumper is unresponsive at times. 50% chance it works whichs is extremely annoying.

It worked great initially! Was skeptical of the bad reviews you can find when googling this product. That said, the joystick no longer works. There’s a significant delay when pushing up. I will be replacing mine. I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere or purchasing the geek squad 2-year plan. Although, very costly. I’d also suggest looking elsewhere for a paddle controller more reliable. Fortunately (or unfortunately), mine broke within the warranty timeframe.

X, Y, A, B buttons are awful. You have to press all the way down and even then, there the press may not register.
