They frequently praise its comfortable feel, good weight, and comfortable grip. However, a significant concern raised by users is the issue of stick drift, which appears to develop quickly. Additionally, some customers have experienced problems with button quality and found the price to be a point of hesitation.

Good controller but SHAME on Microsoft for repairs

Very nice controller. A bit weighty which I liked. You can feel the quality built into the controller. Score is a 4 because it is a really good controller. BUT...there are some issues. From worse to not so bad. Make sure you get the insurance on the controller. I sent my controller into Microsoft for left stick drift. 4 times. Yes, 4 times. Each time I got back a controller in worse condition than the original. I'm not the only one. Also, forget about getting ahold of Microsoft to talk to them about it. They won't. I WILL NEVER BUY A MICROSOFT CONTROLLER AGAIN for this reason. PC USERS: Yes you can change all the buttons to whatever you want. They can also be programmed to shift (button of your choice to act as shift)+(whatever button) but that's it. All the buttons can be programmed that way. But the buttons can only be programmed to whatever buttons are on the controller. So PC users are screwed if you want to set this up as a keyboard short cut. Also, no macros can be set up. So the box tag that says buttons are programmable is slightly misleading for pc users only. Also, no macros PC USERS: Another issue is that you need to buy an xbox controller dongle for pc. The controller acts wonky on some games when using bluetooth on the pc. Would I recommend it? At your own risk. It's a really good controller but pray that nothing breaks on it. Microsoft won't repair it. They'll send you broken ones in place of it.

It seems well constructed however the one I had gotten broke almost immediately which leads me to believe it was a manufacture defect. The right joystick wouldnt click and the right top bumper was hard to activate in gsme.
