Exchanged and paid more for this one and got stick drift on the right stick within a week. Typical Microsoft trash that promises a lot delivers very little. Built a bonfire with the Xbox (after 17 years of playing Xbox exclusively) and bought a PS5, won’t be back to Microsoft’s garbage they’re the inferior trash now and it’s not even close.

There are no metal peices unlike the more expensive elite controller. I would recommend to buy the more expensive elite controller. The money savings isnt worth it

Way too expensive to have hardware issues

It was, like other reviewers have said, registering maybe 9 times out of 10. I thought it was a software issue at first but even in the companion app's test feature you could see it not registering. I used my warranty to replace it through Microsoft. The second one I received had the exact same problem. I had it replaced again. The third one had the same problem with the A button, but also the Y button and right bumper were sometimes registering two distinct presses when you press and hold. My replacement warranty is now expired and I have very little faith sending it in for repairs will fix anything. Wishing I had returned it right away.

Great concept, poor execution

The first, I had to exchange because the drift was so bad. The second (and current) controller works, but the trigger sensitivity buttons came u glued after a couple months of use. Microsoft wouldn’t repair it.
