Stick drift after 6 weeks of mild use

The stick drift is atrocious, much worse than I've ever had with a controller on any console system. Hoping I can get Microsoft or someone to do something to rectify this.

It doesnt register when pressed consistently. It works but is intermittent. Some presses register, others dont, so technically it is broken. Thank goodness for the Best Buy protection plan or id be livid!

RB just quits working and right analog stick starts to drift in a couple of months. Buy the replacement warranty. You're going to need it
