Best controller for any Xbox, however strongly recommend getting a protection plan since it has a built in battery

I loved my Gen 1 Elite Controller, but I am not pleased with this second “improved” iteration. It doesn’t allow for my own batteries, requires charging of the built in (not replaceable) battery. A money grab by Microsoft. Have had this controller 2 months and my A button is already not functioning 100%, the Y button sticks, the joysticks are walking and the battery is requiring charging each day. First generation controller lasted nearly 3 years before it started walking. Do not waste money on this controller for the paddles alone, look for another option that will warranty longer than 6 months.

This control gives you so much control over how you game. All the adjustable features make it so much easier to play how you want

This review is not about the controller but about the service from best buy. I purchase this controller has an open box excellent condition. My order arrived late and the controller was not in excellent condition, it had marks and scratches all over it and the RB button wasn't responding I took it to my local store to get it replace because I had bought the 2 year warranty and I called customer service and they told I could take it to my store and get it exchange. After arriving at the store they told me they can't replace the item because they dont have any open box to replace it with and they can only refund the item and the warranty only allow replace if there is an open box to replace it with and i would have to call customer service if I want a discount towards getting a new one and I have call customer service over 5 times and transfer over 10 times to be hang up on are told they're sorry there isn't they can do but refund the money.

I didn’t think upgrading from a series 1 would make my gaming experience very different. I was wrong. This controller is the best.

Excellent controller. Had to buy the extended warranty because our first one broke after a couple years.

I had an issue with the button schemes because it wasnt registering any inputs but it was mainly because of the Steam software and by deleting all inputs i fixed it. However i got a more serious issues and that comes down to the wuality control. The vibration motor on the left side works good but the right side sounds very cheap as if it is hitting some piece of plastic. The hair trigger adjustments makes the trigger sound hollow and cheap. Considering the fact youre paying a premium and receiving a poorly made controller is unacceptable. The quality materials they used on the other hand, is superb. Hands down the best controller on all platforms. But the QC is awful. Im going to get an exchange and see if i am going to encounter anything similar. If i get the same results, ill just get my refund and continue using my Switch Pro controller.

Controller will not make you better at the games but if you’re already a great player this is a good investment!

Bought one cause I was hearing decent things so decided to try it out. Very overpriced and buttons sometimes don't work. Already had to contact microsoft twice and they pretty much told me tough luck thats how it is sometimes.

Pretty bummed out. Heard really good things about this controller, at first it worked great. After about 3 weeks the left joystick click stopped working and the X and B buttons started glitching out. I love the features on it though I just wish it was better quality!
