After 6 months of playing with this controller it has drift. My elite one controller is still working like a champ.

This controller is trash. Close to $200 with really bad QA, I've bought and returned 3 now, every single one comes with stick drift fresh out the box and sticky A buttons. If it weren't for that I'd say it's worth the price but I can't live knowing I paid $200 for a controller with stick drift on day 1 + sticky A buttons. Not worth it. Power A Enhanced Xbox Series X controller is way better at only $35.

Bought this same controller in 2019 for someone and it worked great and still continues to do so. I decided to buy it again in 2020 for a Christmas gift. Right out of the box, the button was “sticky”. Had the extended warranty so I returned it in January 2021 and ordered directly from Microsoft. The controller from them had issues as well and had to be returned. Not sure why the quality went down.

Received the controller only to notice it had been open by someone else. Was obviously handled but not heavily used. I would have gladly paid less to receive an open box but instead was forced to take the open box item or receive a restocking fee. I decided to keep it since I got the warranty but I’ll for sure be using that warranty. Extra star for the warranty. Best Buy, please don’t sell opened items as new.

Great controller for what it is. Prefer it over the all black one even if it gets dirtier faster

Had one both bumper stopped working within 3 months. Second one is lasted 4 months now

I feel the price point is way to high, I found some other controllers that feel just as good at half the price. Keep searching IMO

Went through two of these, both got stick drift in under a month. Sent first off to microsoft. Came back worse. Went back to regular xbox controllers and no stick drift after months of use

For the price its not that good, but got open box so who really knows

Had the first one and this one is even better and the white and blank make it look more clean

This controller is incredible and my son says it is very comfortable and does a great job.

Had to return and swap for another one due to left stick not functioning correctly.

The controller is good, WHEN, it connects. I'm new at gaming on a PC, so I thought that the connectivity problems were my fault, until I found out later that there are hundreds of people with the same problem: the controller no connecting, or disconnecting in the middle of a gameplay, etc. I'm gonna have it replaced with Microsoft, but I just wish I had returned it when I could. Almost $200 for controller that can't even connect via Bluetooth?

The first one I owned bumper buttons died. Second one I bought suffered from left thumb stick drift. When it’s not breaking or broke works great…

better get the extended warranty because they get to go bad after few months of constant playing. With Geek Squad protection it is a good buy though

The employees and I went through over 10 used elite controllers to find the right one. Every single used item was mislabeled by best buys geek squad. Great conditions where poor condition and poor conditions where great conditions. Some smelt of cigaretts, others missing cables and buttons. Finally we found a good condition one, free of noticable defects it was missing the cable and a paddle shifter the employee said not to worry and took one of the cables and shifters from the terrible condition items saying he had to send them back anyways. After 30+ minutes of finding the right one i take it home, plug it in, and the right trigger didn’t work. It was rough, 10 out of 10 employee. 0 out if 10 product.

Nothing like the X button sticking after just 2 months. Garbage. Save your money and get the $50 one.
