Purchased as a gift. Recipient reports that it exceeded their expectations.

Ran various games and started counting the times I jumped with my character in various games. Out of 200 consecutive jumps with other buttons or joysticks used, and sometimes without, only 80% of A button presses registered (with or without bluetooth). Noticed this with other face buttons as well, but did not test as rigorously. The feel and build of the controller are nice, though I think the weight is a bit too much. Setting up the controller is easy through the Xbox Accessories app, and setting controller defaults and updating firmware is quick.

The quality of the controller is excellent, and the case is perfect design.

I bought 5 of them and all of them had non functioning A buttons and some even had non functioning Y buttons. Ended up making my owm pro controller at home for $30 with my old ps4 controller. I highly recommend you do that, avoid the elite controllers.

Stick drift within the first two days of use. Like every Xbox controller made by Microsoft.

Like most Xbox elite controllers, even with proper care; the trigger eventually broke jsut from being used. Sad design

It’s insane, you pay over $150 for a controller so you are expecting to get a quality product. I bought this almost exactly a year ago. Several weeks ago the LB button stopped working. Microsoft won’t replace it of course. They don’t have enough money I guess. The controller is nice until your buttons stop working. I had the controller previous to this as well which had issues with the grip coming off. It’s always something. Disappointed.

Was excited to receive and use “open box.” However, this will be the last time online. Controller arrived dirty... ultimately decided to return.

Nice controller, but WAY WAY WAY too expensive. Had to return because I could not justify the price.

Controller felt tough and durable, but had stick drift out of the box. Returned it for another one and it also had stick drift out of the box. The staff was great and helpful but the product itself was sub par.

terrible do not recommend. already has stick drift after a few months of using also randomly reloads when i'm playing mw2 and the 'mouse click triggers are horrible and dont always work when you pull them

Grip on the controller will wear out but other than that it worked pretty well for over a year.

The controller has ruined me on regular controllers. But it started experiencing drift from the left joystick and it's super annoying.

This is my 3rd "Open Box-Excellent" item I've bought from BestBuy. The first one (a DJI gimbal) was missing one non-critical piece but otherwise was nice. The last two (including this controller) were terrible and I returned. Although this item was supposedly "Excellent" condition, it came with MANY marks and scuffs all over it, the thumbsticks were clearly worn out, it looked like my 13 year old had played with it for the last 6-8 months. Poor condition. I returned it the same day and it will be my last time buying open box from Best Buy. Do they even look at the items before labeling them excellent? I rebought brand new and the item is a great product but DO NOT BUY OPEN BOX.

Connects instantally every time. No issues long battery life. Love it.
