I purchased this controller for Christmas on 12/17/2019 as of today the controller is unusable due to the right bumper and sometimes the buttons do no respond when pushed. Nothing like paying almost $200 for a piece of equipment that you can't use. My experience is the same as many others with no help.

poor quality but good controller, only wish Microsoft did a better job on the d-pad

Great controller, but the open box elite series 2 that I purchased just stopped working and it was missing a back paddle. This was supposed to be an excellent geek squad certified controller, but it did not come with original box and says satisfactory all over it.

The only color that comes with the paddles and case is the black controller. If you prefer another color it’s going to cost you significantly more.

So I got one of the open box deals and picked Excellent out of the good fair excellent nothing supposed to be missing pretty much new got it opened it up right away it’s missing the pedals no charging cord looked like someone got finished eating and using the controller crumbs in the case and oh the front left bumper was broke whoever excepted that return needs a talkin too

While this is an awesome controller, buy the extend warranty! Do a google search for "Xbox elite series 2 sticky trigger" and you will find out why I’m saying this. I used this for 4ish months and found out the hard way. For me this issue does prevent me from using it but it’s very annoying for such an expensive controller. Other that this issue I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars.

Worked great for a couple months and then developed a stick drift.

Ive returned 5 of these. Either stick drift or buttons get stuck. I mainly play rocket league or apex

Get the geek squad protection. Youll need it. Good controller but will start having issues

Right bumper did not work. Couldn't get full use out of it.

It was already damaged fresh out of the package and clearly left the factory that way. Terrible that it got past inspections.

I’ve had my controller for a little under two years and with the first year the right bumper stopped responding soon after the left. Good thing I can reconfigure the layout and use the paddles. NOPE! Those broke too! I take good care of my equipment and to have that many faults in that sort of a time is unacceptable! Don’t buy this without the warranty! You’re gonna need it.

The controller is used and has some issues with bottons not pressing

Had to exchange because for whatever reason the back paddles weren’t included so that’s an L. I get like all the extra thumb sticks and stuff but no paddles?!? Really Microsoft

Overall this is a great controller. However, I’m so upset because for one it’s out of stock everywhere. Took forever to track this down. Plus, I open the box and my controller is missing two thumb sticks. Like what??? It’s brand new! How can this be? Will possibly return! I’m contacting Microsoft!

These controllers are great when they work. On the other hand, they wear out and break pretty easily which is the downside. The Geek Squad protection is a must have when purchasing this product, unfortunately.

Garbage. Returned. Right out of the box the right joystick did not work. I loved the feel and the weight but when spending almost 200 dollars on a controller, it should be as trusty as the original Xbox one controller my toddler has thrown all over my house for the last four years.
