    I usually get this controller "New" , but this time i really feel they sold me a refurbished product, there were scratches and it didn't feel new. 4 months later I have issues with the controller when I barely play.

    Bumpers break - not worth it this model - its defective. Maybe it lasted 4 months. Then the kid looked on line on how to take it apart and fix it and really messed it up. Avoid.

    I’ve had the controller for 6 months and I’m already running into issues. The right thumb stick already has bad drift. The bottom left paddle also doesn’t register unless I press it multiple times. Microsoft’s warranty is a terrible 90 days, so make sure you buy the protection plan. Lesson learned...

    This is my 5th Elite controller and 1st 2nd generation. All 5 have suffered from broken bumpers, tonight, the left trigger failed and is non responsive. I'm done with them. This particular unit isn't even a year old yet.

    This is our third/fourth controller. We keep having to repurchase geek squad warranty to turn it in for a new one because after a couple months, it disconnects continuously/stops charging. For the amount of money you’re paying, this is ridiculous. Disappointed in Microsoft!

    Worst $250 ever spent (with protection plan) Ive had the controller for one week and already having issues. Thumbsticks Love to twist and back off while in the middle of matches, A and RB have very bad input and sometimes you’ll have to push two, three times before it registers, I’ve lost connection in the middle of matches several times now to the point I have to reset my console for the controller to be recognized. The best thing about the controller are the trigger customization options. What a shame that the updated version of the Elite 2 is not being sold by Best Buy and that Microsoft is still selling this first wave of Elite 2

    I originally really liked this controller. I expected that I wouldn’t need to buy another controller after getting such a high end one that could last through until the next generation but these things aren’t built to last. My first one’s bumper just stopped working and I replaced it with the Best Buy protection plan and no less than 4 months later this second controller has internal problems and won’t connect to anything. The protection plan does not promise to give you a working product in this way. My advice, if you get the protection plan, take the money instead and buy a new thing instead because it’s a rip off as is.

    This said the box was opened, when i purchased the it. once we opened the boxed it was clearly used and dirty. should be inspected a bit better.

    I wasn’t aware when I bought the controller that it doesn’t come with the underside paddle attachments, they have to be purchased separately. Will be returning to the store to get the full Elite 2 controller

    Get it at your own risk. If you do get it get the protection plan. These are awesome controllers with amazing feel and functionality that are unfortunately plagued with 1000000 issues. BUYER BEWARE!

    Lasted about a year until bumper stopped working correctly it’s over a year and a half now and bumper is pretty much non useable! I need a new controller and might just stick with the standard one now!! They usually last a lot longer

    I have went through three of these controllers, same problems with all three. Joystick wander, sometimes they even work loose and spin in a circle causing slippage. All other aspects are premium, and so is the cost. Not what you expect from a flagship controller.
