I understand this was an item box item, but it was marked as "excellent" condition. The left trigger was broken, the right bumper was broken, and the left stick was acting funny. It appeared to have been open before as it easily came apart, and wires had been smashed between the controller and the faceplate causing them to short out. 0/5 Worst $80 i ever spent.

right shoulder button failed just after warranty period expired! garbage! i have owned previous XBOX pro controllers and was very happy with quality but this is awful. I can't believe i paid over $150 bucks for a controller that lasted less than 5 months with minimal use.

Product was terrible got the controller that day and took it home to find the LB1 is broken

The buttons are hard to press and sometimes does not register at all, and does or come with back paddles at all.

Piece of junk. At least the one that i got. It keeps disconnecting even on a full charge also it’s up to date xbox and controller. Don’t know why is doing this. Planning to change to PS5

Had like 6 of these and within a few days/weeks the bumpers either become unresponsive or double input. Such a flawed design and I’ll never purchase this controller again.

Good product, but the durability is next to nothing. Broke in under 6 months. I buy the extended warrenty on my elite controllers for this reason tho, so it's only gonna cost me $50 to replace and renew the extended warranty

Went through 6 of these all returned A button wouldn't press 50% of the time.

Purchased 3 times. First one left and right bumpers didnt work. Second and third controllers had drift issues

Compared to the series 1 this controller is actually terrible. The paddles come in the back of the controller out of the box and are so loose it feels like they shipped my controller here on a train. I have actually had the worst possible experience with this controller but I’m getting by simply due to Best Buy’s insurance policy. I have returned it twice and had to get new ones whether it be the joy stick having drift issues or the paddles feeling like a loose tooth. I do not recommend. Find any other controller with stiffer paddles and better joysticks.

I bought this online "open box excellent condition" and the only thing I received was the controller, everything else was missing. Had to take it to the local store and fight with them to replace it. Check your box when you get it!

The A and B buttons were already defective when I bought the controller. For the price, this controller shouldn't have any issues.

If your old elite controller is looking worse for wear but the accessories are still looking good then definitely go with this controller, its the elite controller without the accessories.

I’m currently on my third elite controller. Previous two were the gen 1’s. The rubber grips pealed off after 3 months. This gen 2 controller feels amazing, they made improvements since the original design. Don’t let the amazing exterior design fool you. Six months of owning this particular controller the right trigger stop broke. Now the trigger sticks and clicks every use. The cap for the trigger stop adjustment fell off about a month ago also. If you purchase this controller make sure you get the geek squad protection. You will easily get your money’s worth tenfold, but the hassle of sending it in or receiving a replacement might not be worth the aggravation.

Product came without a box, only the cable, controller and varios paddle / stick accessories in the protective case. The buttons were sticking. Returned as soon as I could.

The controller is fine but make sure you look at the box went in to get a Xbox elite controller with all of the buttons on it. Dude would not let me look at the box. Thought i was gonna steal it even said im not gonna let you hold it because you may run with it. I said fine whatever bought it got home and found out he sold me the core now i have to spend even more to get the charger case, and the rest of the buttons 

I am very disappointed. The left stick drifts after a little over 2 months. Just outside Best Buys return period ofcourse. Sure I can send it in for repair but now I'll be without a controller for weeks or months. This is a known issue with these, I wouldn't recommend buying these until they fix it. Best Buy, I hope you do what's right and let me exchange or return this even though I'm outside of the return period.

To have bought two in the past five years I wouldn’t recommend it honestly $140 for Xbox controller With some interchangeable joysticks, don’t waste your money guys stick with the Xbox controller that comes with it

Do not buy this. Good for first few months, but normal wear includes stick drift, stuck paddle buttons, & random disconnects. Not worth

Have had this a little under a year(purchased 8.17.20), used it a few times cuz it’s just my controller for whenever I’m not playing keyboard and mouse games. The paddles on the back are not comfortable at all. The controller has the worst drift I have ever seen, it goes up down, literally making my character wiggle back and forth on the screen, drift started a few days ago (4.8.21). Sadly it’s the worst gaming product I’ve ever owned. 170$ for an unusable controller. Absolute garbage.
