Microsoft just doesn’t care
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went through 2 brand new controllers , both of them having stock drift out of the box. Had to return them the next day. It’s not best buy fault it’s mind blowing to know this has been a huge problem since day one of the elite 2 in 11/2019. And almost 2 years later Microsoft still hasn’t fixed the issues. Smh very disappointed in Microsoft as a company..

Great Controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing product. Great D-pad and removal analogue sticks. This controller makes it difficult to prefer PS4 and PS5 controllers.

Unfortunate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller broke after 28 days, wasn’t dropped or miss handled at anytime. Wasn’t worth the money spent. Could’ve bought something more reliable.

Complete Disappointment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will be returning my second Series 2 today in under 48 hours. The first unit had a stuck A button. This one has a sticky A button and the right front paddle feels and sounds completely different. I purchased the Best Buy warranty on this because of all the negative issues surrounding it, but thought it would be worth it a few months down the line as aside from what seems to be a complete lack of quality control, the hand feel is amazing. I can’t even make it past unboxing, though.

Right bumper and right joystick malfunctions
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were really impressed by the build quality and weight of the controller and looked forward to having this for a long time. Que to 2 months later when the right bumper began to have issues. Now the right joystick is malfuntioning. Long story short i would not recommend buy this. You are better off buying the off brand elite controllers.

Poor quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn’t have any button issues my problem was the right stick making creaking noise and moving inconsistently. Went back to my mint generation one after using this controller for a few weeks and hands down the older controller is much superior even in button sensitivity. Hopefully they will fix this in later batches but expect this will be out of stock for several months after Christmas due to all the returns.

Manufacturing Issues
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1 after the other, these things don’t work right out the box. Y button issues, this is a manufacturing issue that Microsoft needs to look into especially considering the fact that this controller is significantly more expensive than your regular controller. Imagine paying a premium price for a garbage product.

The absolute junkiest worst and overpriced
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The worst most overpriced controller I've ever had the displeasure of purchasing. 3 days out of the box the left stick kept walking// wandering lol.. all Xbox products are totally made from garbage. Over the past few years I've bought 2 xbox ones ( both disk drives no longer work). I've been through 10 controller's. Everyone should stick with computer gaming and let Xbox fade away...

Open box catastrophe
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had gone through 2 open boxes both horrendous, 1st one said excellent condition yet didnt start and was missing the dpad changeable part. Then the 2nd open box in excellent condition didnt even come with the the caseing or extra parts just the remote. So far has ruined the open box experience for me personally.

Does what it needs to - still disappointing.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Build quality is sub par for the price. Don’t use the term ‘Elite’ if you can’t do something as simple as properly glue the palm grips continuously.

Great controller, breaks easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller feels and works great for 2 or 3 months. Then buttons stop working due to por craftsmanship. If they fix the issues, would be the best on the market

Junk
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for our son May 8 and delivered on May 11. On September 4, the controller is no longer worked. My son isn’t the type of kid who gets all mad at the game and tosses his stuff. He recognizes the value of money and is careful with his things. Called Best Buy, can’t return and Manufacture Warranty is 90 days. So at 115 days, the $200.00 controller is useless and our only option is to purchase another. I don’t know who I am more frustrated with Best Buy or Microsoft.
