MASSIVE STICK DRIFT WITHIN ONE YEAR
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the layout but had terrible stick drift within one year of using it. Wouldn’t recommend. Go with another company unless you get a three year warranty.

Controller sucks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller sucks. After a month of using it barely works. I often find myself clicking buttons twice which is unacceptable. I wish I could get my money back

Stick drift problem.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great design and look but quickly (within a month) developed stick drift rendering it practically unusable. Not an uncommon occurrence...google it. It sits on my shelf while I use my stock controller. Don't buy it. A waste of money.

Just buy new
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not like new ordered 2 one as a best buy order and one from best buy on eBay. Left joystick on the one stuck and it was filthy out of box. Lucky it was still in warranty with Microsoft. The other one the 3.5 audio jack don’t work with any headset. It’s out of warranty with Microsoft and the return period is over by a few days. They shouldn’t be labeled like new.

my experience with this controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this controller as a birthday present a couple of weeks ago. It worked well when I 1st got it but has progessivly gotten worse. the LB and RB buttons would sometimes stop working or would impute the action twice. they now don't function at all. The left joystick doesn't respond, and when it does it drifts very Badley. The magnets on the back have loosen and don't hold the back peddles that well. It's sad how such a promising controller was such a big disappointment.

An unresponsive, expensive paperweight..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this controller all of about 2 hours when I realized the A and Y wouldn't register 5 or 6 presses in a row quite frequently. Which is a shame because the rest of the controller performed very well. But, if you can't engineer the most basic face buttons that have been on almost any controller for the last 20 years, what does it matter if the rest is solid? I still have controllers from the 90's with better buttons. Reviews and forums are full of people with this very same error. I returned it for a refund after seeing where many, many people had returned this 4-6 times or more. Why pay 180 bucks for a controller that is in the mail half of the time? Better luck next time, Microsoft. By the way, Best Buy was very speedy to refund me, so thank you for that.

Great controller until RB or LB fail…and they will
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a poorly manufactured controller that will likely fail with only normal usage. Its shocking how many people are stuck with failed Elite controllers. Don’t believe me? Look up fixes for LB and Rb buttons via YouTube. You’ll find this to be a far too common occurrence. I’m stuck with a worthless paperweight because I waited too long to complain. But even if your warranty is still good, you’ll be required to send it in to MS for refurbished replacement. No thanks.

The thumb stick drifts
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The left thumb stick drifts. I tried to fix it, which worked for a bit, but I'm having the same issue again still. It make it unusable and is completely unacceptable for a $170 controller.

Bad experience.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 remotes and the first remote was completely unresponsive. I got used so then I went a got a new one I had the same issues and as much as I loved the design and sturdiness I had to let it go and get scuf which is so much better! This was my personal experience. My cousin has one and he doesn't have any issues with it but unfortunately I did.

I really did love this controller but d-pad sticks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outside the 90 day warranty the d-pad now sticks up both wireless and wired. It is an issue that is no fault of my own but a mechanical fault. Can't afford another 180 right now so I guess it is what it is. I still have some regular xbone controllers to use right now that still work fine and have had much more use. The default warranty for a controller this expensive should be 1 year but no less than 6 months for a fault that is not caused by the user or normal wear from use.

DO NOT BUY AT ANY COST
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Anyone thinking about buying this controller, just don't. I've had to return the controller 3 times and every single time it seems like the problem is fixed for the first week, then reality kicks in and it breaks again. The main issue with this controller is the right bumper. Every single time I've gotten it back it either double clicks, doesn't work, or even triple clicks. Please please please please just buy a normal controller, the nice rubber grips and thumbsticks are not worth it when it consistently messes up in the bumper department.

Terrible controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very very very poor build quality. Its not even worth buying the controller for the features because it'll last you a year at most. I've had 3 of these in 2 years, and the one that i have now i have taken apart and fixed over 5 times. So, if you do not have the money to buy another in 6 months, or dont know how to fix a controller yourself. Please please please safe yourself the money.

RB has inconsistent response - should have known!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had it a few months and the RB button is completely unreliable. It "clicks" every single time as if it were functioning properly, but there is very spotty response. Horrible return policy as Microsoft suggested I send my ONLY controller to them first for repair. Best Buy is completely out of stock, and suggests I give the controller in first as well. It's a lose-lose situation, so I have had to resort to using a paddle for my RB button. No good!

TERRIBLE quality, good controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller. BUT. Quality is terrible. I've gone through THREE of these now, each with a DIFFERENT problem. The face buttons are sticky. The right bumper doesn't register. The seams around the left handle are coming apart. When it works, it's a great controller. But every one i've come across is just terrible. This also includes the Elite 1, so this is an ongoing problem. NOT worth the money.

Too many issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feel like I completely wasted my money. If you want to connect via Bluetooth to your PC, forget about it. I've tried every fix you can find online and this controller still gives me issues. Save your time and money and forget about getting an Elite 2 controller, Microsoft is borderline scamming people at this point.

Great idea, poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like the series 2 after my original elite controller fell apart (the rubber grips came off and some of the d-pad inputs stopped working). After about a year of low to moderate use with the series 2, the right bumper no longer works, the rubber pieces for the trigger guards have both broken off, and the rubber grips are starting to peel off. One of the selling points of this controller was that they fixed the build quality issues with the first one, but it doesn't seem like it.
