Great Feel, Terrible Functionality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After owning the elite series 1 controller for 4 years, I decided to give this controller a shot. Its clear to me that Microsoft has since stopped caring about product quality and placed the emphasis on marketing. I was initially impressed by the build quality of this product (it feels very high quality and well built in the hands), but actually using the controller is another story. Right out of the box, the Y button would consistently not register my button presses. This basically made the controller unusable as I need that button for the games I play. I thought I had got a defective controller, so I returned it for another one. To my surprise, the second controller not only had the same issue, but was also doing it on the A button. This product is straight up unusable, no matter how good it looks or feels. It’s sad that paying more than double the price of a regular controller, only gets you a nice paper weight. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. I returned the second controller and got the Razer Wolverine, which has exceeded my expectations.

Great improvement
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big improvement over the series one as far as functionality. The hair trigger is much better the fact you can tighten the joy sticks to your liking is a added plus gives you better feed back. To me it doesn’t feel as sturdy as the series one though. The bumper buttons seem a little weaker. But the control feels slimmer which again in my opinion is better. Still think it is over priced but still a great controller if you want to spend the money

Nice controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller comes stripped of the paddles and the charging station which is fine. I already have that from the previous elite and it was nice to save some money.

It’s alright
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not worth the price. The paddles could be placed better, the controller is noticeably slimmer than the xbox one controller and just doesn’t fill my hands as I’d like. I don’t have large hands either. ABXY buttons aren’t as responsive as the xbox controller either. I can actually press gently press them all the way down without an input being registered and I can’t replicate that on the 50 dollar controller.

perfect trigger for the trigger happy
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.fantastic. i love playing elden ring with this and brawlhalla. the paddles really help to accidentally jolt off a cliff with torrent and screw up my combos and such. i'm sure it'll have some use to it. really like the option to change the trigger pull. i keep it real short for easy spamming. setup was kind of difficult. i had to download these sketcy programs and update it. idk. once it started to properly work it was good

My son loves it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to wait till stores opened back up in order to use the replacement plan I had purchased with the series 1 controller I previously bought my son. After the extra out of pocket cost plus another 2 year replacement, this ended out being a great birthday present for him. I think it has a few more attachments in comparison to the previous series and some more software programming functionality. The 2 year replacement is definitely worth it with the cost of the controller.

Great controller with not so great defect.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. Weight is a little heavy and grip texture is perfect for those sweaty games. Downside is after 6 month to a year you will notice the right bumper having intermittent failure as well as stick drift in right thumb stick. I recommend warranty because it is a common defect that happens in almost all Elite 2 controllers.
