My Third Defective Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd defective controller. My first one lasted 5 months and the right trigger started grinding and not pressing correctly, I had that one sent to microsoft since I purchased my first one through them, and am waiting for it to be fixed. I just bought another one through best buy, and when I recieved it in the mail, the controller sounded like it had broken bits of plastic inside moving around, So today it was exchanged but they only had red, so I had to pay 11+ dollars extra for the difference just to get an exchange. Geek squad checked the new controller to confirm it was a good one without problems. When I tried it at home the joysticks sound like there is sticky residue inside them, and when I press down on the joysticks and rotate them, they get stopped in rotation by some internal defect that doesn't allow them to rotate as they should, and when I use the left one and aim to the bottom left side and try to click in, it simply will not press in. These controllers are plagued with defects right out of the box, with zero quality control what so ever, and even geek squad missed this defect and said it was a good controller. I will be returning this product plus the 2 year extended warranty I bought for it, which is needed for these controllers because they WILL break eventually if not already defective right out of the box. $130 for the white one, $140 for the colored ones. an xbox series s is 250$ This controller is half the cost of a CONSOLE, yet has the worst quality control I have ever seen at 37 years old, and gaming since I was a kid. If you get a defective controller, don't let Microsoft get away with it, return it immediatly. It is the only way Microsoft will learn that all these returns will push Microsoft to want better quality control.

Wonderful Controller Terrible App
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really nothing bad to say about the controller. But the app to configure it s TERRIBLE!!!! Its laggy, takes forever to load and sometimes completely crashes the xbox; I’m currently staring at a black screen because I was trying to use the app to configure the controller.

Must buy
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing controller for the cost. Especially if caught in sale. Recommend ordering from third party for additional button, thumb stick, and paddles

Best controller but with internal issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down the best controller on the market, but the durability is not great for the price. This is my second elite controller and my last one only lasted 6.5months and developed “drift” in the left stick. This is where there is a delay in the controller registering moving forward causing a delay or causing the stick to get stuck in that position. And come to find out Xbox only offers a 6 month warranty and it costs a $100 out of warranty to send it back with no eta on when you will get it back. So ended up buying a new one but adding the $40 for the geek squad protection so I won’t have to deal with Microsoft and their awful customer service going forward bc sadly I can’t go back to using a standard controller.

The WORST controller yet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now, I WILL say the new features are fantastic. Being able to program the paddles as "Shift" buttons, the adjustable tension sticks among other things...but it still doesn't redeem the fact that the build quality is HORRIBLE. I'm on my FIFTH S2....yup, number 5. Drift, sticky buttons, disconnections or worse ALL out of the box. It's unbelievable how Microsoft has messed up a great opportunity.

Great option.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good controller. Accustomed to using a Scuff controller which is more versatile. A great option if you're not going custom.

Decent
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s good everything works fairly well but there is some occasional delay when pressing a button and I know it’s the controller because my basic controller never has any issues with any kind of delay.

Great
||Posted . Worth every cent
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best controller for Xbox hands down. The ease of use and modularity are amazing and things that I didn’t know I needed. I won’t be going back to a regular controller anytime soon.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller - haven’t even used it to its full potential yet. Response times on the trigger buttons are much better with the sensitivity toggle.

Its alright
||Posted . Its really easy to accidentally push them and its makes it really hard to play with them

Excellent controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're going to game for 3 or more hours a day and have long sessions, the Elite controller is a must. There are cheaper ways to go, but this is an excellent controller.
