This is a great controller and has great features, but the price is too high. Yes, the grips are better and the extra buttons are cool if you remember to use them, but i always forget. I had 2 others that i had to return cause the Bluetooth would disconnect all the time and had to plug in. The switch in the back snapped off my other one. I am on my third and hope its the charm. Nice long battery. You can change the buttons and how it turns. If it was 80 bucks cheaper, it be perfect.

Old reliable right here. Ive tried a few different controllers and always come back to the elite 2 series because of its sturdiness, heaviness, button map quality and ease of use and it connects with my wireless headsets

I love the weight to the controller as well as the grip but the sticks last for way longer then standard controllers I’m kind of an aggressive player/ user so the durability goes a long way controller lasts through all of my gaming sessions with no issues

Was using a PS4 controller wired to laptop. Found this “PRO” controller and knew I needed to give it a try. Hated the wire and wanted back buttons. This is a excellent controller which feels and looks great. User configurability is great. The buttons and sticks that can be changed out are super easy to do. Battery life is outstanding. I use it mainly for travel and the protective case isn’t overly huge. Only had it for a short period so can’t comment on longevity and problems others have had with buttons and sticks going bad. Can’t say one bad thing so far about this controller. I price matched and paid $139.99. Standard Microsoft warranty now 1 year suggest paying an extra $20 by calling Microsoft Xbox tech support to extend warranty for a total of 3 years. I believe you have 45 days or so after purchase to add this extended coverage. Also recommend using the Microsoft wireless adapter ($25 extra) instead of the Bluetooth connection. Heard you can have connection issues using standard Bluetooth. All in all great controller upgrade and at the moment would recommend.

This controller is a fantastic upgrade for gaming enthusiasts. I especially appreciate the extensive customization options, allowing me to tailor it perfectly to my preferred gaming style. The addition of paddles significantly enhances gameplay, especially for fast-paced shooters and action titles. The battery life is impressive, ensuring long hours of uninterrupted gaming without the need for frequent charging. If you're looking for a controller that offers both comfort and performance, I highly recommend this one

These controllers are great. Pros: Customizable Feels great Love the grips Cons: About to get my 4th one is 6 years. Had 1 with bad stick drift after a year (common issues) 1 both bumpers stopped working consistantly (common) Was able to use paddles to solve this problem. 1 that the house cracked (might have came that way), but spread. Treated the controller carefully too. So, love the controller. But i am also prepare to replace it every year lol.

Yes, I believe this device deserves a 4/5 rating for the following reasons: I love the adjustable trigger settings, controllers really did need this. I also think that the customizable joysticks, and d pad are cool, the material enveloping the grips are very comfortable and give that premium feeling. I love the paddle feature which is the most interesting change. I think the most essential feature for my gaming experience is the trigger adaptation. The one thing im missing to making this controller exceptional in overall tech. I expected there to be another feature for push to talk, or an open mic built in like the playstation controller, also i expected the buttons to be quieter clicks so hardcore gamers like myself aren't disturbing other peoples sleep with loud clicking. OH and the fact that the share button feature was removed, that was a big one for me. (I'd recommend this item until something better comes out.)

After about 2 years of use the RB and LB buttons would not work consistently and the rubber grip started to pull away. After some light research, this is a common issue with these controllers. I do love the weight and how much I can customize the controller. If you want to spend the extra money to get this over the standard controller, get the coverage.

Wow! My friends have been talking about the Elite controllers for a while and I always doubted them. I have had a number of SCUF and AIM controllers, and none of them compete with the Elite. The weight of it, the overall feel, the customizing of it, and extras it comes with are worth the price. I’ll never get another SCUF again (plus their quality is crap now).

Super weighty and premium in terms of feel. Pairs quickly and works without interruptions in my experience. Battery life is great! I got about a week and a half of heavy use out of it on a single charge. Costs a lot, but totally worth it in my book.

Average controller, if you own the elite 2 parts or buy them with it its a slightly above average controller. It has a great feel to it, a tad lighter than original elite series 2. Unfotunately I recieved 2 that withing 2 weeks of recieving i realized was plagued with the same rb lb double or triple click. If that issue was panned out it would be a better buy. The thumbsticks do seem to be better put together than original elite 2, no stick drift out of box. I wouldn't reccomend unless you have the parts for elite 2 already as buying them will net more than just buying elite series 2. Even if you do have the larts be aware you still run the risk of infamous double click.

This controller is pretty fantastic, and a remarkable upgrade in a few ways from the previous version. It has better paddles that are a little snappier, so you wont accidentally depress them in the heat of the moment of gameplay. It has better sticks with a bit more control to them. And it has the ability to charge on a little stand that comes with it, which is super nice to have. The part that has bothered me are the AXBY buttons. I have gotten three of these thus far since I decided to purchase them through Best Buy, and the Y button specifically, on all of them, has to be depressed at exactly the right angle in order for it to connect and follow through with the input. Apparently, this is just a quirk of these controllers, which for the amount of money you spend on them, is really unacceptable. I believe this can be fixed but it requires you to pull off the front face of the controller, and I'm not ready to do that yet. Just know that this has a potential issue with the buttons.

The Ultimate Controller for Precision Gaming!

I recently picked up the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC from Best Buy, and it’s hands-down one of the best gaming investments I’ve made! The premium build quality instantly stands out—its weight and textured rubberized grips feel sturdy and comfortable, perfect for long gaming sessions without any slip. The customizable features are a dream for any gamer. With interchangeable thumbsticks, D-pads, and four back paddles, I can tweak it to fit any game, from shooters to racing titles. The Xbox Accessories app makes button mapping and profile switching a breeze, letting me save up to three custom setups for quick changes on the fly. Performance-wise, it’s flawless. The adjustable-tension thumbsticks and hair-trigger locks give me pinpoint accuracy and faster response times, which have noticeably upped my game in competitive titles. The 40-hour battery life is a huge plus—no more worrying about recharging mid-session—and the included USB-C cable and charging dock keep things convenient. Whether I’m playing on my Xbox Series X, PC, or even via Bluetooth on other devices, the connection is seamless with zero lag. This controller is a total powerhouse for anyone serious about gaming!

Best controller I have ever held, when I bought this it was a returned item and marked down by 60$. I found that the controller had its analog stick tightened which I fixed myself with no issues since. probably the cause of the return. It has a very nice metallic feel to the controller and feels sturdy the sticks feel just as high quality. It is very nice to have a charging doc and its battery life is insane coupled with the doc. If you remember to place it on the doc when done with it, it will never lose power on you. The modular nature of the buttons is nice and the back panel triggers are nice. I have programed these back triggers for additional inputs on the application reWASD on PC which I recommend if you wish to do so.

This controller is better than a regular Playstation or Xbox controller. I've also used Scuf. The paddles feel better than any I've used. The overall value of this controller is great - the ability to remap any button is huge, along with setting up multiple profiles for a few different games. A lot of custom controller manufacturers don't have their own software to do this and won't let you remap on the fly. Also, the ability to adjust the tension in the thumbsticks is amazing! In the hands it's comfortable, feels like quality (not cheap plastic), and looks clean. Expect a little bit of stick drift on day one. Mine was actually so bad I replaced it a week later and got one that wasn't as bad, but still has some drift.
