I love this controller but it's falling apart.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the hefty weight the controller has, and I can't play without the paddles anymore. However, after about a year of use the right bumper sometimes drops the input. while one of the paddles feel stiff. On top of if I squeeze it a little to hard it cuts off. And it randomly disconnects. I really love this controller. I just wish it lasted a little longer for the price tag

3 years 3 Controller XP
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had 3 of these controllers Overall performance is solid but has a desync issue every other day, bumper buttons are the most common to break, stick drift doesnt really occur until 3-4 months of use. Durability is very good, and freedom of button layout is comp asf and very helpful for swapping games. Dont recommend using this for fights games.

Excellent controller but some issues on PC
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 feels a lot better than the included controller in the Series X/S and seems more like a true "next gen" controller. I primarily use the Xbox Elite 2 for PC gaming. On Steam when connecting via Bluetooth the controller has worked flawlessly except with Batman: Arkham Knight which required telling the game it was a 360 controller with custom mappings. Surprisingly with Xbox PC game pass I ran into many more issues when connecting via Bluetooth, I found connecting via the included USB-C cable works better for game pass games, otherwise on BT I run into issues where some of the buttons aren't mapped properly and even when manually mapping them they don't respond correctly or at all. Being Xbox's flagship controller, I would think it would run seamlessly on Xbox game pass. The experience may be better on consoles but this controller is billed as an Xbox/PC controller and should work well on both. Other than those issues, which largely are corrected by connecting via USB-C, I like the controller quite a bit. The rumble feature feels much more natural than the included Xbox Series X controllers, which felt to me like technology from 10+ years ago with very basic and clunky vibration feedback, lightweight and a need for AA batteries, especially when compared with the all mighty PS DualSense. The Elite 2 controller has a nice weight to it, the thumb sticks feel solid, snappy and respond nicely. I haven't used the paddles much but I like that they are included and could see them being useful for many games. The grips feel good as well and make the controller sit securely in your hands during gaming sessions. The controller also feels more balanced than the X/S. This controller comes with a quality, corded 9' USB to USB-C cable as well as a rugged case that doubles as a charging station. Within the case it also includes a tool to adjust the thumb sticks as well as an alternate D-pad. Overall this is a large improvement over the included X/S controllers, and some of its PC compatibility issues which are a bit frustrating can largely be overcome by tethering with USB-C.

Top-tier controller with premium feel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Elite Series 2 Core controller delivers a fantastic gaming experience. The textured rubber grips feel great in hand, the buttons and sticks are responsive, and the battery life is impressive. Setup on Xbox and PC was seamless. The only caveat is the price — but if you’re serious about your gaming, this controller is a worthy investment. Highly recommend.

Much more premium than the regular Xbox controller
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller has a lot more customization in terms of thumbstick height and trigger actuation. Also comes with a nice carrying case. Very good quality controller with a premium feel. Only con is that it is quite expensive.

Maybe the greatest controller I've ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After finally acquiring a Series X, I was content to use the standard Xbox wireless controllers. I even invested in a PowerA Fusion controller that was on clearance for less than $50. But when this came available for $139 during the 15 days of Gaming promotion I felt compelled to give it a try. I can't recall a better deal being made. Even at full MSRP it is a great value. The design, the weight and feel. The quality of materials used plus the functionality and countless configurations are unmatched. Why buy anything but the best? I think it is a highly durable product that will give you the greatest satisfaction. I have zero regrets.

Best Gaming Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the feel of the controller. Its comfortable and grips well in hand. This is the perfect controller for first-person shooter games with the additional paddles in the back, and the adjustable triggers. Utilizing the additional paddles takes a few hours to get use to, but once you do, It is hard to use any other controller. Also the addition of a carrying case, extra swappable pieces, and portable charger make this controller worth the price tag. I was skeptical at first, but glad i invested in this controller which will be my primary gaming controller for many years.

Awesome controller
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say this controller is the GOAT of controllers, never had any stick drift issues, the battery last weeks if not months no issue and I'm a heavy gamer. Well built and cant take a good fall or two. connectivity is not a issue with this controller and I connect it to multiple devices and it always works. I cant see MS coming out with a 3 sine this one hits all the check marks TBH.

Worth Upgrading
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was hesitant in getting a refurbished controller, but as soon as I began using it all that went away. Clearly another level than the standard controllers, but ultimately price speaks volumes and the base price of this device is understandable and still exceeds tolerance. At half the cost, then absolutely a done deal. Same can be said for a standard controller for that matter. These devices shouldn’t be priced the way they are and neither should anything in the console category as they’ve exponentially climbed towards absurdity. If hardware has outpaced game resource demands, then either we don’t need to refresh systems for another ten years or someone needs to tax the system resources with something amazing, to which they have and it didn’t need teraflops. But I digress…awesome controller and refurb totally worth it.
