It is a very solid, durable feeling controller, the sticks are great and so are the buttons. I haven’t used some of the more advanced features this controller has to offer yet, but my first impressions are overall very positive!

It's nice to be able to customize the triggers and sticks to make it more comfortable to use. As a PC gamer primarily I have this for games I prefer to use a controller on.

My child is happy with his controller.

He tells me that with this controller he was able to play better which gives him an advantage to win the games and it saves me from buying batters. He also said that he can play and charge while using it. Battery life last for hours.

It will take your shooter game and kick it up several notches. Mine had a sticky “A” button, but after 1,000 presses or so, it was normal. These controllers are known to have suspect life spans, so I’d recommend the warranty.

The series 2 feels tighter and lighter in your hand, has a much better updated case and charging cord. Love this controller will not use anything else, and am an avid daily gamer.

Improvement on the first one

This controller is a direct improvement on the first one and is so good so far. The buttons and analog sticks are much more responsive and customizable. Perfect for FPS.

The paddles on the back side take a little bit to get used to, but once you get used to it things can be done much quicker. I like the ability to change out the d-pad and the joystick pads. And the case is really nice as well.

Has weight to it for a solid feel and all the buttons push nicely. The joysticks feel real good with no travel.

Better than the first gen Elite

Luckily this last time the new Series 2 came out and Best Buy swapped it for the new one since the Original Elite is sold out and discontinued. The old controller would disconnect a lot and the left stick would just wander without moving it. Great upgrade and improvements

All other functions worked. The paddles are wayyy smaller on the Series 2 compared to the original, But this controller overall feels better. Also the rubber grip wont peel off version 2. The front and back shell are textured now, vs glued on rubber grips. Going to exchange for another one.

But man you just have to roll the dice. Some of these are flawless and will last for years, but my first one wouldnt even turn on. Thank gosh for best buy return policies!!

My only complaint is that the the RB stopped working after about 7 months, luckily i had it under warranty and got a free replacement.
