Paddles feel more comfortable to use and hand grips better. Love the 360 style thumb sticks Watch out for: The rubber pads on trigger locks. They might fall off and pinch you to let you know they're not there anymore. Eventually you don't notice it missing. The rubber grips vastly improved on by first controller but some times pop up from long term use. Just pop it back in and it should fix it. Get a warranty just in case :)
