Good improvement over the original but....
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new Gen 2 Elite controller is much better constructed over the original Gen 1 Elite especially with the grips and new metal bumper frame but, with my new Elite out of box, the right and left stick feel slightly loose and the right stick is already suffering from a downwards stick drift and it hasn't even been broken in yet. Good controller regardless but, check the controller to be sure of any potential out of box issues.

Best controller ever!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best controller I’ve ever used! I own the first edition of this controller also, but this one is much better. Feels better ergonomically, I love the rubber grips that wrap around the handles. The triggers also have a texture to them which is nice. My favorite feature is the internal rechargeable battery - lasts 40 hours on one charge...phenomenal! It’s certainly spendy, but worth it in my opinion. It will also work with next gen consoles

Best pro controller on the market!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best controller on the market! This might be the best thing Microsoft has ever created. No other controller comes close to its perfection. Only wish it worked on all consoles.

Definitely recommend.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely recommend. I’ve had a couple of these controllers over the years and will keep one as long as I have a Xbox. The controller weighs just a little bit more but it feels great actually feels like it has value. Battery life is very nice as well.

Solid product - from a Professional FPS player
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I stick by the elite controllers, they have an amazing hand feel and the paddles on the rear are in absolute perfect positioning for my hands - biggest reason I keep returning to them, I can’t game without them now it’s almost like you forget they’re there and it just becomes a regular button that naturally integrated. My only complaint is the bumpers- the elite controllers are notorious for having the bumpers go out after a year or two ( and the grips start popping off, but some precision super glue or adhesive and it’s like nothing ever happened ) so you do end up needing to replace them every couple years - I’m on my 4th elite controller since the very first gen 1 elite controller release.

Incredible controller but not cheap
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good controller. A little pricey though. The feel of the device in hand is great and very different from the standard controller. And there are so many configuration options it seems overwhelming.

Good product
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is awesome and last pretty long too with battery. However, it’s a good idea to get the warranty on it if you’ll use this frequently when gaming. These are definitely not immune to stick drift or some buttons sticking.

Great controller!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to return it due to a double gifting, but boy does my nephew love this controler. Every game has its own setting for the back pedals, uses it mainly for PC, but he loves it!

Not worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So so controller. The “grip” feels slick and is already peeling with moderate use. The stick clicks feel unresponsive sometimes and feels off in hands compared to standard controller. I am already experiencing some slight stick drift too and would not recommend buy this to anyone.

Hit and Miss
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is good. Plagued with issues of buttons not responding, triggers failing, stick drift but when it works it works well. I have one and my son has one. Mine still works great. My sons is another story.

Nice controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loce the fact that i dont have to replace batteries all the time with this controller and in which, the internal battery last a while, thinking close to 20hrs before recharging if not longer. Enjoying the customization and button mapping for the extra slots.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Controller ever made for xbox! A little pricey, but worth it, you no longer need actual batteries, and you can replace literally any gesture from any button for the paddles! Works excellent with Warzone. I used to mess up all my controllers from double pressing the joy stick to sprint, now with this controller, I don't have to use the joy stick button, and replaced it using the paddle! So much smoother and improves your gameplay !

Excellent controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent controller. It’s replacing the standard controller and the horrible SCUF controller. My recommendation is to stick with OEM items.

Not bad
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a bad controller works well responds well but stick drift came in quick after about a few months had to return. The first one I bought was not working at all. The second one I got is working well other than a little bit of stick drift the Best Buy team was very helpful on swapping the controller for a new one.

Blew my mind.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This one of the best controllers on the market. Well worth the price tag of $180 added with the Microsoft wireless adapter for $25. I recently got into gaming on the PC and was previously using a standard Xbox one controller. the difference between the standard and the elite is night and day. More advanced options, slightly heavier, comfortable grips, switchable parts, and a battery life that will last your for a couple of days on a full charge. No complaints yet.
