Honestly one of the best controllers you can get! This is my third one and I learned the hard way to get a protection plan on these contollers. The same issue has happened in the past with serious stick drift and bumper issues (not registering/double registering) developing. If you’re buying through best buy consider the geek squad coverage but also definitely look into getting it with microsoft complete from the microsoft store!

This is the best Xbox controller you can get currently! The rubber grips and paddles paired with the thumbstick tensioners make the the best controller you can get on the console currently! Don’t pass it up!

Grate controller always my number one choice. I’ve owned three already.

First and foremost, the build quality is exceptional. From the moment you hold it, the Elite Series 2 exudes durability and sophistication. I had gotten an opened-box all black one for roughly $60 plus $35 warranty. Easily the best controller for any shooter game or even a regular gamer that needs buttons that are easier to press. My opened box one was missing the usb-c cable but that wasn’t a big deal. The controller functions like it is brand new. Easily the best controller I have owned and when this warranty is over and the controller breaks down the line I will 100% be buying another one!!

Very sturdy. Doesn’t feel cheap. Nice weight, that makes you feel like you’re really in the game. Built in battery is very convenient and long lasting. Customizing and tweaking to your preferences makes it the best available controller out there.

I love this controller because i can add pedals and adjust the the trigger pulls. One thing i noticed is thatwhen i want to screen shot or screen record the button doesnt seem to work when im playing Call of Duty.

If you want a controller that feels like something a pro gamer would use, this is it. Very comfortable, and has support for additional inputs and interchangeable joysticks and D-Pad. However, my LB button is already breaking within a year of use. It still responds, but I have to put additional effort into pressing it. Also, the clips/magnets on the back that hold the pedal buttons break easily. It’s great while it lasts, so hopefully Microsoft invests in sturdier materials. This is an expensive item for something that breaks down quickly.

Best Gen 2 elite controller…GEN 1 i kept breaking the bumpers…BUT GEN 2 the buttons are definitely stronger nd the charger last longer

When new, the controller works fantastically. Key phrase is WHEN NEW. This is the 3rd elite controller that I am now going to have to replace because of stick drift, sticky buttons, and the headphone jack not working. Each controller started showing these issues just a few months in. You're probably thinking "Okay no problem, I'll just pay for the Best Buy 2 year warranty, then I can get a new controller whenever I want". HAHA good luck EVER finding them in stock. THEY WON'T EVEN ORDER THEM FROM MICROSOFT FOR YOU. My controller has been a piece of garbage for a couple of months now, but can't get it replaced thanks to Best Buy's constant lack of inventory on them. I have the listing bookmarked and check daily to see if they have any in stock, and they never do. Overall I do NOT recommend this controller for any gamer. Only reason I gave two stars is the controller is very nice when its brand new out of the box. However, you will regret it when you pay this much money and are without a useable controller for months at a time, after only using the thing for a couple of months.

Love the extended play time when fully charged. Nice solid design with plenty of ways to program for specific games.

The controller it self is a piece of art, confortable 110%, fully customizable, feels great to the touch. Only problem so for is the Bluetooth that keeps disconnecting randomly

Not as crisp as a complete one, but it is just as serviceable as one. I haven't had connectivity issues and it feels fine.

I have had the series 1 since it released years ago. For the price and time it felt like a good upgrade over standard controllers. I still have it but have since passed it down to my kids because the Series 2 is better. The build quality is better; the sticks are not as loose; the buttons are better and there are now 3 settings for the trigger pull. I appreciate the built in battery. The case also doubles as a charger so you can just set the remote in it and walk away. What I noticed immediately are less aggressive paddles compared to Series 1. The original paddles hung out too far for me and my fingers would bump them all the time. My only issue I have so far is connecting it via Bluetooth to my PC. I was able to finally get it linked, but it took too long and I have little faith regarding input lag. I have opted to use it wired to my PC.

This has been an awesome controller! A step up from my previous one love it!!
