I could have opted for the standard controller but the weight and feel of this makes me happy I paid extra. I have no clue what the all the extra buttons do but Im happy I have them.

Purchased as a gift for my gf with her new gaming rig. She loves it and has since accessorized it. No stick drift and she loves how comfy it feels while gaming. The grips are comfortable for long sessions and battery life is great. No connectivity issues.

This controller is amazing at the beginning but as time went on i started to notice some functional errors like my a button stopped working properly then it works now. The left trigger stick doesnt work when i put it on fast trigger mode and now my controller started to drift and i never had any of my controller drift before. The thing i enjoy about this controller is the feel of it and i like how the charge last a long time and i don't gotta wait long for a quick charge or use batteries. Anyways get this controller if its on sale full price ain't worth it in the due to the difficulties i had after awhile.

This has been my first xbox elite controller and it has been the best controller ever. It feels amazing in hand and has a nice weight to it! The sticks don’t stick at all and they glide around with ease! I also love that I can change the d-pad and the analog sticks. I got the white controller and ordered some purple paddles, analog sticks, and d-pad and it looks amazing! Would definitely recommend this controller to anyone that enjoys to game!

If you want the best and most durable controller on the market for your gaming needs, look no further. I had a normal Xbox One X controller and I liked the improvments that they made when the Series X came out however I couldn't shake the feeling that it was an overall cheap feeling controller. That's when I had to pony up for something with a little more weight and durability. The weight of the controller is perfect and the rubberized palm areas are great for grip. I don't really play fighting games so I don't use the D-Pad piece that you see in the pictures, just the normal one you would see on any controller. The ability to change the trigger stops at 3 different positions is very nice and a great addition from the older Elite controller. Overall everything has a nice click and solid feel, hopefully with the right care this thing will be the last controller you'll ever need.

This controller is excellent from the standpoint of functionality, ergonomics, and customizability. It has everything from multiple profiles, customizable triggers, adjustable stick tension, swappable D-Pads, and 2-4 paddles depending on user preference. It's also basically plug and play on PC. Where it falls short is build quality. Despite being quite an expensive controller, it has only a 1 year warranty, which admittedly is up from the 90 days offered on the Elite v1. I have returned 7 of these in the last 4 years - they do not last. Stick drift, sticking triggers, and unresponsive bumpers (typically R1) are the most common issues. I don't think any of them have lasted a full year. They're also the same issues I had on the Elite v1. Given that it's almost a decade since the original Elite was released, I think it's clear the manufacturer isn't willing or able to address the quality control issues. This is underscored by the fact that a bare bones version (the Core) was released without the Series 2 accessories. Presumably this was to offer a lower cost option to people whose controllers had failed, and were out of warranty.

This controller is an amazing piece to have for a gamer. This controller is a must if you are a more competitive player in certain games. The unit is premium with a bit of heft to it, so keep that in mind. The back paddles have a nice premium touch, while they conform to your hand without feeling awkward. The device itself has many presets you can configure as well. My last one lasted six years, so yes do not drop it so it can last you.

The Elite Series 2 Core is hands down the best controller I’ve ever owned. The build quality feels premium and solid, with a great weight in the hands. The grips are super comfortable for long gaming sessions, and the adjustable tension thumbsticks make a huge difference in precision. Battery life is excellent, and I love that it works seamlessly across my Xbox Series X, PC, and even cloud gaming. The customization options really elevate gameplay, and the overall performance is smooth and responsive. If you want a reliable, pro-level controller that takes gaming to the next level, this is it. Absolutely recommend!

I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Microsoft Elite Series 2 controller. The build quality is top-notch and it feels great in my hands. The interchangeable thumbsticks and paddles allow for customization to fit my personal gaming style. The added Bluetooth feature makes it easy to connect to my PC and mobile devices. The battery life is also impressive, lasting for well over a week with regular use. The software that comes with the controller, allows me to remap buttons and set up profiles for different games. The only downside is the price, but it's worth the investment for the level of precision and control it provides. I highly recommend this controller to any serious gamer.

Build quality is very high. Have had a few issues with button sticking, but it seems too be decreasing with use. The customization options are outstanding. The paddles are game changers. Battery lasts a long time! It’s built like a tank.

The price is competitive comparitave to other pro controllers on the market. The customization options offered in the bundle are nice. Have not had an issue with drift or any buttons not working out of the box. With normal play, the controller should last about as long as a normal comtroller would especially if you keep it in its case. The case allows for the dock to be connected to the usb and charge the controller while protected inside. The Xbox accessories app works nicely when mapping different profiles for the controller as well. If you have concerns with the controller malfunctioning, buy an extended warranty.

I purchased this remote despite some of the negative reviews I’ve read about it. I’ve owned it for a little over a month now and have used it almost daily. From my experience I’d give it a 9/10. It feels really good in my hands, slightly heavier than the original Xbox remote. I like the fact that you can charge it inside of its case when it’s not being used and the case is really sleek and durable. The battery easily lasts a few days without charging. The only issue that I’ve had with it is that it has drifted 2 or 3 times so I know that it does exist now. It hasn’t happened often, and it’s not a continuous issue so far but it has happened and you immediately notice when it occurs. Besides that I do enjoy this remote and would definitely recommend it if your into shooters like COD, Apex, Halo, ex…my only suggestion would be to pay for the extended warranty.

The grip for the palm of the hands is really nice when holding the controller. The extra buttons are a nice addition although I don’t like the 2 bigger ones the first 2 is good enough for most games. The customization around the joysticks and the types of sensitivity is very helpful for different kinds of games. The case that it came with is nice for on the go and you can even charge it through the case! I overall was very pleased with this product!

I think this is a great controller, until it breaks. I've had about 10 of these and the series 1 in total. BUY THE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY. It's worth every penny. The usual things that break are the left bumper button and usb connection if you choose to plug it in. It's fantastic until it breaks, I just with the quality control was better on these, but I love the feel, the weight and customization compared to a stock xbox controller

[Employee of bestbuy] Problems: buttons (LB AND RB) start to work less over time, causing presses to not register. Some minor issues with the rubberized material peeling at the seem after a while. Too expensive to be having this problem at $180 pros: great controller with amazing customization. love the paddles too. it is great to hold and aiming with them is pretty much a breeze. I also love the adjustable triggers, and the case it comes with that can charge the thing.

The Microsoft Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller is hands down the best controller I’ve ever used! From the moment I picked it up, the premium build quality was obvious. The textured grip feels amazing, and the adjustable tension thumbsticks provide incredible precision—perfect for competitive gaming. One of my favorite features is the remappable paddles on the back, which give me a serious edge in FPS and action games by allowing quick inputs without taking my thumbs off the sticks. The trigger stops also make a huge difference in fast-paced shooters! The 40-hour rechargeable battery life is fantastic, and I love the convenience of the included charging dock. Plus, the customization options in the Xbox Accessories app let me fine-tune everything to my exact preferences. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a hardcore competitor, the Elite Series 2 delivers an unbeatable experience. It’s a game-changer, and I can’t imagine going back to a regular controller after using it. Highly recommend!
