For the Elite
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller has changed gaming on my Xbox forever. I don’t want to game with any other controller. From the grip, adjustable triggers, paddles, and options/settings; it’s incredible. The only downfall is that it’s my 4th one. The Rn/lb for me have broken or become unplayable because of how hard I need to push down on them. I don’t know if I personally have had bad batches but that’s my main complaint. For a controller that is very expensive I should only have to purchase one. But like I said I don’t want another controller lol this makes gaming very fun and they’re a breeze to use.

Cannot map extra buttons to keyboard buttons
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are buying this controller because you want to be a pro gamer who uses can press the A, B, X, Y buttons while still using the joy sticks, then this IS the controller for you. If you are buying this controller because you like to play game pad compatible PC games or driving sim games and just want a few more buttons to map actions to, DO NOT BUY THIS CONTROLLER. You cannot remap the extra buttons to other functions not already on the controller. Pros: Build quality is top notch. Feels very solid and the customizable joy sticks and D-pad are a an amazing feature. Battery life is solid going several days without recharging with daily use. Cons: There are some firmware issues that can cause the controller not to be recognized correctly by some windows systems. This issue has been on going for years. That said, even though it doesn't get recognized correctly sometime, it still functions as a game pad all the time. The biggest issue is that the extra buttons on the back of the controller CANNOT BE REMAPPED TO OTHER KEYBOARD BUTTONS. These buttons can only be mapped to buttons already on the controller. This is a completely ridiculous software lockout that makes these buttons obsolete for my purposes. My only reason for keeping my rating as high as it is is that this controller does what it is designed to do and it does it well.

Great controller just a bit expensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, this is my favorite Xbox controller I’ve ever had. Love the fact that it doesn’t use batteries, you can easily charge it. It charges quickly, and it lasts around 40 hours. Stick drift would be my only real concern as all my previous Xbox controllers have had quite a bit of it after many many months of use. But so far 4 months in, 0 stick drift, but too early to tell if it’ll be a problem. I would also recommend buying the elite series case and components from Xbox as that has really elevated my experience with the controller. Don’t cheap out and buy from unauthorized sellers, I promise you it’s worth it. I think my only real problem with it, is that it’s on the expensive side. If you have the money for it, I’d say go for it. It’s the best that Xbox themselves provide, but not the best on the market.

Premium Feel, Minor Issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 is honestly one of the best-feeling controllers I’ve used. It’s solid, comfortable, and the customization options are great — the paddles and adjustable triggers make a big difference. The battery lasts a long time too. My only real complaint is the stick drift, which showed up after a while and was disappointing for how much it costs. Still, when it’s working right, it’s easily my favorite controller.

Worth?
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product peforms up to expectations. The grips are soft and comfortable while being grippy. The changeable parts are wonderful to allow adaptation for play styles and performence base bonus. Asjustable triggers allow for relax gaming to professional performence. This product comes with a charging dock to allow that you never run out of battery life. The case is super durable and quite useful giving space for the inchangable custom parts. I would recommend the product to anyone with Xbox, and PC gaming.

Great concept, marred by QC issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 1st elite controller was 1 that I absolutely adored. Until about 6 months of ownership and the right stick started to drift to the point of un-playable. When the new 1 was announced, I thought I would give it a shot. It arrived on release day and worked great for the 1st couple of hours. Then I noticed that the A started to stick or just not register. This is apparently a known issue and MS support is supposed to take care of it. Time will tell... Aside from this, if you were a fan of the 1st, this should be an upgrade. The rubber grip fully wraps and is something really special. The 3rd trigger adjustment is actually really cool for fine tuning. For example, on the left trigger I have it 1 click for a slightly shorter stop. On the right, I have it maxed out for the shortest possible pull. On call of duty, I am able to fire a pistol or marksman rifle faster as the trigger resets faster. The sticks are still a highlight with adjustable tension, and different sticks let you adjust the length for speed or accuracy. The D-pad is still probably the best on any controller. It's accurate and can be swapped from the disk to a traditional 4 way in a matter of seconds. Lastly, the charging. USB C is the way of the future and its in there. The carrying case also allows for charging. Great controller, but the QC issues really bring it down.

It's sturdy, ergonomic, and feels great in your hands. The materials used are top-notch, and it's evident that Microsoft paid meticulous attention to detail. The ability to customize this controller to suit your gaming style is unparalleled. With adjustable thumbstick tension, swappable thumbsticks and D-pads, and programmable paddles on the back, you can fine-tune it to perfection. It's like having a controller tailored just for you. The Elite Series 2's performance is flawless. The responsiveness of the thumbsticks and the hair-trigger locks for faster shooting in FPS games give you a competitive edge. I've never experienced any input lag, and the controller's accuracy is on point. The battery life is impressive. A single charge lasts for many gaming sessions, and the included charging dock is convenient and ensures you're always ready for action. The companion app for the Elite Series 2 is a game-changer. Fantastic controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I’m partial to the PS controllers due to not liking the feel of stock XBox controllers, this one is amazing. It’s got great weight, and feels like a premium product. The personalization options are great and it’s very easy to setup. If you play a lot of games, get one. Your hands deserve it.

Stick Drift Issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best in comfort. Best in Quality. Bad in overall life. Sticks tend to start drifting 1 month after use. The build quality is top-notch, and the customizable features are a game-changer. The textured grips feel great in my hands, and the adjustable thumbsticks allow me to fine-tune my aiming precision. The extra paddles on the back are a game-saver in fast-paced shooters, giving me quicker access to essential commands. While it's a bit pricey, the performance and customization options totally justify the cost. Definitely elevates my gaming experience!

Changed my gaming experience forever !! :D
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best controllers I’ve ever owned for my Xbox Since 2019. The extra buttons and paddles made my gaming experience so much easier and enjoyable, especially with mechanics being a lot more complex than it was a decade ago. Addition with different profiles, I’m able to switch depending on the game I was playing whether it was Fortnite, call of duty or rocket league this controller did it all. For the price, I say it’s worth it with the functionality that it brings compared to the standard Xbox controller.

Elise Seres 2 it is a MUST!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core (White) is a solid “mid-elite” controller: it brings many of the high-end features of the full Elite line, with compromises mostly in bundled accessories and price. If you value comfort, customization, and flexibility, it delivers excellent value. But it’s not perfect — there are trade-offs, especially around durability and cost if you want the full set of extras. Overall, a strong choice if you use it enough to get your money’s worth.

Pros don't outweigh the Cons of this controller.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this controller while it was on sale, which, sadly to say would be the only time I'd buy one. Within two months of owning it, the left analog stick developed drift, essentially overnight. It became so bad that I couldn't set the controller down without a character walking in a random direction, or a movie/show skipping forward. I store the controller in it's case, and cleaned it regularly. I had to have this controller replaced five times within it's 1-year warranty from MS and each one failed in almost the exact same way. There are other instances where buttons don't register and/or take multiple presses to execute the action on screen, or to pause a movie. Cons aside, the controller does have a few pros(weight, paddles, overall feel/comfort) but honestly none of these outweigh the cost and very clear QC issues that plague these controllers, buy at your own risk.

Nice looking and feel
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller looks good and is easy to hold and use. My previous elite controller had bumper issues after a couple of years. Not a big deal but we will see how this one holds up. Otherwise it is more comfortable to use than the standard controller. Price is a little steep but controller is more enjoyable to use.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller is very nice to use and you wont want to go back to a normal xbox controller after but wear and tear can hit it pretty hard. Bumpers fail often, stick drift is decently frequent, and I've even had an A button stop working. Protection plan is almost a must, but it has been one of my favorite controllers.

Best of the best, but get a warranty
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good: Excellent controller, takes everything you like about a regular Xbox controller and makes it better. Adds bottom ABXY paddles so you can keep your right thumb of the joystick. USB-C charging and good battery life. Swappable sticks, nice case. Adjustable trigger length is awesome- I use it on the shortest setting for everything but racing games Meh: price is high- $120 seems more reasonable. Warranty was initially 90 days, Microsoft has bumped that to 1 year due to “mechanical failures” Bad: left stick has failed after 10 months of light and gentle use. An additional 2-3 year warranty feels like a requirement at this price point
