Drifting away
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had multiples of this controller and there is one major issue... Stick Drift. If they could fix the stick drift issue this would be a perfect controller. I have had them drift straight out of the box. It is pretty dumb that Microsoft hasn't fixed this issue.

Great controller lots of customizations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller. So many customizations in the Xbox accessory app. I love the different size thumb sticks and the D pad that’s included. Love the paddles, even though there was a slight learning curve for me on those. I like the fact that you can create a profile for different games and save it your controller. The controller doesn’t feel cheap and feels good in your hands. I do recommend you get the extended warranty due to the fact that controllers do have issues due to the amount of use they are put through. Great controller and a nice addition to your console.

Slick control at a steep price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super dope controller. Feels amazing in your hands and comes with tons of extra paddles etc. unfortunately mine is missing the charger that comes w it but it’s a standard USBC so I can charge it myself anyway. Feels durable and super high quality but also comes at super high price. Great gift for a serious gamer but casual players don’t need all this

Great Controller
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy this controller. It has a good feel. The grips are nice. The paddles on the back are easy to reach. Programming the buttons is super easy. Some people have reported stick drift, which I have never experienced. I own two of these controllers. I will say I have never paid full price for one. I bought used off best buy and ebay (with no issues).

It’s worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think it’s a excellent controller , I’ve had 3 . I do play a lot . Especially FPS and for the most part these elite controllers give me a couple of years great use . It weighs about right and the customization options have been great. I know it’s costly but I really do feel like you get what you pay for . Microsoft also has a pretty good warranty with these controllers so I’m happy with my purchase

Amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought the Xbox Elite Controller for my son, and it has completely exceeded our expectations! The build quality is top-notch, with a premium feel that’s evident the moment you pick it up. The customizable thumbsticks and paddles allow for a truly personalized gaming experience, giving him more control and precision in every game. The grip is comfortable, even during long gaming sessions, and the adjustable tension on the triggers adds an extra level of responsiveness. The controller also syncs seamlessly with the Xbox, and the ability to switch profiles on the fly is incredibly convenient. It’s definitely worth the investment for any serious gamer, and my son absolutely loves it! Highly recommend this controller for anyone looking to elevate their gaming experience!

||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really great controller! Has a premium grip and good weight to it. Not built like those cheap plastic ones. The trigers and analog sticks are reslly good out the box but once you customize them theyre on a different level!

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice controller it’s heavy no batteries, the charge last for a long time overall it lasted about a year and half. Better than the original version but do recommend getting the 2yr or total tech warranty on it.

A must have to bring your gaming to the next level
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a regular Xbox controller, put it down and go get your hands on an elite. You’ll never want to pick up another controller again. The craftsmanship alone changes your game. The quality of this controller feels amazing! Not to mention all the quality of life changes they’ve made to the series 2! Better textured grip, more profile customization, the ability to fine tune your stick sensitivity and not to mention never having to change the batteries again! With 40 hrs of charge time just sit back and enjoy your game and when your done, just place that bad boy right back in the case to charge it up again. What are you waiting for? Go out and get one now!

I like it a lot, but boy, is it expensive!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really dig this controller and look forward to the inevitable Elite 3 which will (hopefully) borrow a bit more of the things I like about the Series SX controller. In the meantime, this will be just fine. It's expensive, so I do recommend trying to catch it on a sale. The build quality feels excellent, and I'm generally happy with the level of customization it allows me on PC. I primarily use this for FPS games (Apex Legends, at the moment). If you're feeling limited by what your standard controller or gamepad lets you do (especially as far as movement goes), this might help. There's a learning curve, and you'll probably spend a few days figuring out how to map your buttons with another week adjusting to using paddles, but once you get it, you can expect to feel as comfortable with it as you would any other gamepad. I really like the magnetic attachments, the trigger stops, the "Shift" options that let me program buttons do more than a single function, and the overall feel of it. The d-pad is a bit more squishy than I'd like, and I do prefer the feel of the SX d-pad to this one. It's fine, though, and you don't really use it much for FPS games, anyway. I've heard complaints about stick drift, but I think that's an eventuality with all modern controllers, regardless of brand. I typically do a full rotation with each stick before I start playing, and that tends to "reset" them, so stick drift isn't really a problem for me, especially in games with deadzone settings. That said, I've only had this a few weeks. I do have an extended warranty, just in case, so time will tell. If you think this might be for you and aren't completely turned off by the price, I'd recommend it. If you can't think of a reason you'd want it or would ever want to pay that much for a controller, skip it. Beyond FPS games, I could see this as being super cool for racing games and maybe a few other genres. Also, if you're using it for PC, get the dongle (I think it runs about $20-30). I already had one, and it works really well.

Best controller by far
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying I LOVE this controller. The customization, the easy charging, and being able to set the tension on the joysticks is second to none. I’ve tried all the other third party controllers that are similar to this one, and none are quite as good as this. With that being said, it isn’t without issues. The first one that I bought would randomly disconnect whether it was wireless or whether it was wired. As far as the wireless disconnects go I found out that my router was on the same frequency channels and then with the controller uses so when it would frequency hop it would kick the controller off those channels. If you research what channel the controller uses then you can set your router to use a subset of channels that are higher than it and you won’t have the issue, but it took a while for me to figure that out. Hopefully that helps someone reading if you have that problem at home. As far as it disconnecting even though it was wired to the consul I’m not sure why that was happening, but I will say it’s not happening with the second one I have now. The other issue I had was stick drift and button failure. My left bumper started not working as well and was really intermittent, and both of my six developed drift. Luckily I bought the warranty and I was able to get it replaced with a brand new one but that was in process by itself that took months. Finally one came in stock because they were never in stock because everyone is replacing them constantly, that I was able to order pay for and then Best Buy reimburse me after going through a couple of management levels although I was preapproved previously by support. Buy the replacement warranty. If you can put up with a few flaws that it has, bottom line is it is the best one you can buy and don’t hesitate to purchase.

Great upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Huge upgrade from a regular controller. The weight is heavier but that makes it so much better. The grip pads are an excellent touch. Love the different map settings and light customization. And getting paddles is a must

Get the warranty
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing controller. Premium feeling. It's great. But the stick drift that happens can come on very quickly. Also, the RB/LB buttons are fragile and don't hold up for a long time. Get the warranty so you can replace it when one or both issues come up.

Best Xbox/PC/Mobile Controller!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Xbox controller that exists. Do not waste your money on standard controllers or knockoff brands. The elite two is of such superior quality that it would be blasphemy to use anything else. The controller is hefty in your hands. Nice weight and feels great. The paddles on the back have excellent customization. You can even alter the buttons on the front to be whatever you want. Fully customizable. You can have infinite presents from what I saw, and you can have 3 active presets and can switch to them at will by a press of a button on the controller. It has clear indicator lights that will tell you which one you have on. This headset also works perfectly with PC as well, if you have Bluetooth capeablities or plug it in. I also use it to connect to my phone. This controller is fantastic! Buy one and you won’t regret it!

Good, until it isn't.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good out of the box. Has a highy quality feel, good ergonomics, and comfort. Unfortunately, it will drift and will get worse over time. Depending on what you play, it's disposable and won't last forever, especially for FPS games.

Good but only with a warranty
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall its a good controller, the glaring issue being durability, and im not saying that like i smash my controllers. This has been a known and on going thing with this controller. Xbox uses some plastic connectors inside the controller for some internals like the bumper instead of a lightweight metal so after not even really extensive use you begin to get stick drift and unresponsive bumpers. If you have some kind warranty to be able to get replacements like through best buy then your generally fine, but otherwise not worth the price.

Doesn't feel cheaply made
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WAY TOO often I have had to buy Xbox One controllers. Generally, Xbox 360 controllers I didn't have to replace and seemed to be a sturdier design, but it seems I'm lucky if an Xbox One controller lasts more than a year or two at best. Since this was on sale, I decided to try a little more expensive model and was intrigued by the additional buttons and profiles/programmability. I do feel they were a little cheap to not include the rear paddles for these new buttons but, since that's the only negative I’ve perceived thus far, I'm still going to give it a full five rating as I can't do a half star. It has been a solid controller thus far! The rechargeable battery has certainly pleased me with how long it lasted before I had to charge it for the first time. That's a good thing because it didn't look like it had a typical user removable battery pack like Insignia's that I'm used to buying which definitely don't last as long per charge. Also, the main home button is a much better design where you don't have to press as deep for it to register. That is one of the first buttons to go bad for me--tends to get less responsive or feels like you have to press/hold harder or do multiple attempts to either get the home menu or power down options as the controller ages.
