Good, but PC support issue & no service plan
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pricey but high quality and good feel. I use it with a PC via Bluetooth, Definitely an upgrade over my 360 controllers. Unfortunately the customization of the paddles on the back isn't working after I switch from USB cable to Bluetooth, so taking off a star for that. It essentially makes the paddles useless for me. So minus one star for that. Also I'd hear there was a drift issue with these so I asked if I could buy a service plan, but the clerk told me I had to pay for a Best Buy membership to buy a plan. So no plan, hopefully I can use the warranty if there is an issue. Odd when people won't take your money. I won't deduct a star for that since it doesn't reflect on the product, more of an issue with Best Buy.

Great controller takes alot of normal gaming abuse
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the controller. I have had everything except the scuff controller. I am a heavy gamer and use the controller for games like Fortnite, destiny and gta5. The response is snappy and I can change out the joysticks at any time depending on what game I play. The p1-p4 buttons on the back are comfortable and even if you drop it the don't fall off. The settings for the controller on the Xbox are simple for anyone to understand and yet as complicated as you want it. You can adjust the curve set presets for different games and many or other people. I only gave it 4 stars because the click on the left joystick just went out on me. I have been gaming for 5 months between me and my 3 kids for probably 5 hours give or take and it held up better then any other controller I owned. It is covered under warranty so I am getting it fixed but I would definitely and I am going to buy another.

Bottom sticks
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bottoms stick and stick drift for the price you Figure the bumpers won’t stick after six months, but that’s why you must get the warranty

A good controller with great software.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the controller works well. The paddles and extra thumb sticks that are included are a nice plus. Setting the controller up is incredibly easy. The best feature is battery life. I have been using this controller for a year and even while playing 15-20 hours a week I’ll never have to charge it more than once a week. The controller can also be used wired while it’s charging, so you don’t even have down time between charges. The only reason for a 4 star rating versus a 5 is because of stick drift. After maybe 3 months of regular use, I started getting stuck drift in the right analog stick. It has a warranty, and Microsoft will fix it, but you have to send off the controller for who knows how long. For a $200 controller, stick drift should not be an issue. And if it happens outside of the warranty window, you’re stuck with it. Microsoft at the very least needs to sell new pots for the analog sticks that you can replace yourself. With that being said, you can counteract the stick drift by changing your dead zone settings. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and will probably buy another one whenever this one finally bites the dust.

My go to
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my go to controller. When you pick it up, you immediately feel the quality. I love the customization feature options with the back paddles (sold separately) as well as the trigger response options. The built in battery life last a long time with a single full charge.

Best controller for reliability
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it comes to reliability and performance, the Elite series stands out as my top choice. Since the introduction of the Elite 1, this controller has proven exceptional. It outperforms its cheaper Xbox counterpart by a long shot. The ability to where Customization is key to a gamer style of play this controller is it. It enhances your gaming experience with the upgraded thumbstick pegs and button mapping flaps, making it the ultimate controller for PC gaming and Xbox first-person shooters. I Couldnt be happier.

Awsome Product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best controlldr I have ever used. It comes with a case That you can hook the charger to the battery that's inside the case so that when you store your controller it automatically charges it. No more worrying if your controller will need a new battery.

Really nice, but pricey
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the Xbox Elite controller. I'm not a heavy duty gamer, but the customization and different stick/pad options are nice. The unit has nice weight and doesn't seem to drift. Hard to say if the price really justifies the upgrade from a standard controller in my case, but if you're a serious gamer I think it would.

Better than the series 1
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace my series one controller (rubber grips were coming off). This one seems better built and has more flexibility to set it up for what games you play and how you want to play them. Built in battery lasts for days, even with long sessions of gaming. It's a bit more expensive than the series one, but with no battery to replace and it comes with it's own charging base it is worth it for heavy gamers.

Great for pc
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased to use with my pc for cod and other games. For me it was nice but a rough adjustment from ps5 controller. If you’re used to Xbox or never used controller then I’d think it’d be fine but after being away from Xbox for so many years and having adjusted to ps5 then coming back to Xbox it was a bit much. I love how light it is compared to the ps5 version of pro controller.

An Excellent Replacement!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used my Elite Series 1 for years and wore it out, even changed it's housing/buttons over time, still works to this day. Loved every minute of it, and the successor is an even more reliable move forward. I love the case/charger combo, makes putting down my controller and always having battery so much better. Less to think about. Super responsive controls and the customizabilty is extremmely flexible

Into Competitive Gaming? This Is Not For You.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My experience with this controller has been rough to say the least… I play a couple videogames competitively and was looking for a heavy-duty, durable controller. I thought that the Elite Series 2 would be an excellent product to meet my needs. However, the quality control on these controllers is not great. I went through not one, not two, but three of these controllers only to give up on them entirely. On the first one, the shoulder buttons would spam their input if held down, and the “A” button was inconsistent. So, I decided maybe it was a fluke and got another in hopes it would work. Unfortunately, that one had stick drift right out of the box and again the button pad was inconsistent. I luckily had geek squad protection, so I went to get a replacement. However, AGAIN the controller had issues with the sticks, and this time trigger buttons. After that, I basically just let it collect dust on a shelf. I’ve given up on this controller. Just to be clear, I DO NOT recommend this controller in the slightest, but if you are still considering purchasing it, I can elaborate some of the good aspects. The weight and feel of the controller is lovely. The materials used make it “feel” premium. The battery life is great, and the options to switch out various components and tweak the stiffness of the sticks is a nice touch. The companion windows app that comes with it works great too, and it’s very easy to configure. When I did get a unit without stick drift, I was disappointed with the handling. There is a sort of dead space around the neutral area of the stick and require a bit of extra movement for input to register. Not a huge issue in most games, but if you are considering it for a game like Rocket League or any other precision driven game, it’s not worth it. Overall, if you want to take your chances with it for some casual gaming, go for it. If you want something with reliability, go for the regular Xbox Series A controller or Razer equivalent.

Elite has its issues but Best Buy is on it
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller and I've been through a couple. For me it's less about the panels than the sheer weight of it which seems right in my hands for all the gaming I do. Elite controllers have earned a reputation for falling apart over time, especially having sticky buttons, rubber grips that unglue, etc. Best buy has made this so easy with their two year protection which I definitely bought this time on both the controllers I bought. And I'm glad I did because about 15 months in I'm about to bring mine back to the store. Because there's nothing worse than having sticky buttons on a dragon's about to decimate you.

Like it more than my Scuf
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My scuf stopped working so I bought one of these to use with my pc when I want to game from the couch. I had the scuf impact, and I find the comfort of the elite to be better, the customization is easier, and it just works better on PC. Maybe a tad expensive. I really like the swappable parts (thumbsticks and d-pad) that come in the box, and easily adjustable triggers.
