Upon research trying to resolve the issues I realized it was a known problem with the right analog stick becoming unresponsive after attempting troubleshooting nothing worked so I had to return the controller as defective.

It does take some getting used to the back paddles but I would say it is worth it for games.

I was an elite 1 owner and this is an upgrade for sure. The tension adjustment and trigger locks are my favorite new features. I picked these up because it was mentioned that they would be next gen compatible.
