Get the warranty or a different controller

It's a great controller, a bit heavy, and feels solid. That being said, it has issues. Took about six months for right shoulder button to double register each press, and I've seen other reviews with similar issues or worse. Don't buy if you can't afford the warranty because you will need it. I love the controller and just hate that it doesn't last.

I previously had series 1 and this one seems better made. The rubber grips wore out and fell off on the first one. These feel sturdier.

This elite controller is better than the first one. However the parts for the first one are NOT compatible with this one.

Not cheap but for as much as i use its well worth the performance and comfort. I use mainly on PC and it works well. Really like the grips as well as the 3 trigger settings.
