Feels much better than Standard controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS * The overall feel is much better than the standard controllers * the ABXY paddles are great to use as long a you get used to actually using them. The only time I don't use them is when I have to have a finger on a button to tap fast several times in a row since thumb speed is much faster than trying to press the paddle button with middle or ring finger. In most scenarios is gives you the ability to keeps your thumbs both on the thumb-sticks while being able to press ABXY. * replaceable thumb-stick grips is nice. CONS * The thumb-sticks wear out after a while and then start to have drift issues or inaccurate movement. This can be fixed by refurbishing the controller to have new thumb-stick part on the internals but that either needs money or skills to do. * my first 2 elite controllers lasted about 2 years each before I started having thumb stick issues. Both issues were on the left stick used for movement. Will be curious to see if this one is any different. * expensive

Xbox elite
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this controller and for me it was totally worth the extra money. (vs the standard xbox controller.) Before, I was going through xbox controllers every 9 months or so. (I replace them once a button starts to fail) For me, this controller has lasted over 2.5 years. I did start to get cosmetic damages (glued-on grips were starting to come apart) and battery charging problems started about 18 to 20 months in- but before I would be on my 3rd or 4th controller in that same time frame! button re-mapping is awesome! and the bottom triggers changed the way I play (but it did take some time to get used to) I used to have a problem with hitting the thumb stick buttons on accident and moving the shoulder buttons to the bottom made things faster and easier. The controller is pretty much done now, but its still doing its job (it needs to be tethered for power and the grips need to be replaced) I hope it holds out till version 2 comes out.

Great while it lasts
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device checks a lot of boxes. It's really comfortable to hold, and has a nice weight to it. Clearly uses good materials as it just feels great to hold and use. The problem is that it's very unreliable. I've now gone through 3 of these via warranty repair, which is crazy for a device of this sort. My regular Xbox controllers have worked solidly (minus some wear on the rubber from use), but the Elite Series 2 has had issues with the bumpers across all the devices I've had within 6 months. A very frustrating experience, and definitely would recommend waiting until a version 3 or updated release where Microsoft has sorted out these issues. Search online, they're very common.

Worth the extra moolah
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller has been working so much better than the $60 controllers that i kept buying. Paying more for the elite series not only lasts longer but it provides a much smoother experience and quick reaction time. Also, thumbstick is metal so it doesnt scrape plastic off like the other ones.

I LOVE THIS CONTROLLER!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE this controller! The controller has some weight to it, which I like. The paddles and d-pad are made of metal and very sturdy. The stem of the sticks are also metal. The paddles, sticks, and d-pad are easy to switch out, no tools needed. Programming controller is super easy using the app on the Xbox or computer. I have smaller hands and the position of the paddles that come with the controller aren't bad. I have switched mine out to use the scuff ones and the difference is marginal between the two. If you need to feel the click of the paddles (I personally don't care about that clicky feel) then switching to the scuff ones is for you. I am pretty rough on my controllers and so far so good. If you are in the market for a premium controller then this one is a great option. I wouldn't pay any mind to the bad reviews they probably just had a bad one, which happens in manufacturing. I had no issues connecting it to my new Series X and it works flawlessly. Get this controller you won't be sorry

Buy the reg version.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good gaming controller. Depending on how you treat your controllers it'll get stick drift. I use this controller only for fighting and fps games. The stick drift does t move on its own. The extra button only in handy with farming/ mining games. The extra buttons are not customizable. Just an extension for the other buttons xyba. Other than that it's a great buy. Feels good in the hands has a good weight

A decent controller!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Microsoft Elite Series 2 wireless controller to play some games on my PC and Xbox. It's a pretty good controller, but not perfect. The design is sleek and comfortable, and the buttons are responsive and customizable. The battery life is also impressive, lasting for hours on a single charge. However, I have some issues with the durability and the price. The controller feels a bit fragile, and I'm worried it might break easily. The price is also quite high, especially compared to other controllers on the market. Overall, I think it's a decent controller for gaming, but not worth the hype.

Stick drift
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is amazing until it starts having issues. I've had mine for a month and its got stick drift in the right analog. The RB button will register twice when pressed once, sticking buttons, its sad. I love this controller but it would get 5 stars if it was built with better quality internally.

Best controller out there.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great controllers. The battery life is awesome, i do get about 40hrs of play time if not a little more. I like the customization of the controller, fully mapping buttons yo my preference and has also definitely made my gaming experience much better. The only con to this controller is the price but they last do much longer. I currently have 3 of them, 1 for each of my consoles and my oldest one is around 5-6 years old and still no issues. I woulf definitely recommend even if have to save up a little longer for it.

Game-Changer Controller for Apex Legends!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just grabbed the Microsoft Elite Series 2 controller and it’s been amazing for my Apex Legends sessions! The build is super solid, and it feels premium in my hands. What really stands out are the paddles at the back. They make a huge difference in fast-paced games like Apex. I can jump, reload, and do all sorts of moves without taking my thumbs off the sticks. It’s been a game-changer for sure, making everything more responsive and upping my game. The battery life is great too, lasting through even the longest gaming marathons. If you’re big into games like Apex, this controller is a must-have!

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful product. The white is not my fortay but the quality of it feels great. Being able to adjust the tension of the sticks makes it easy for FPS Games. Definitely going to buy another, but in a different color!

Elite controller :)
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My bf loves this controller! I buy him one every Christmas! Although it could probably last 2 years or more, my bf plays almost everyday. Multiple hours a day, and he sweats A LOT but it holds up quite well, especially when he gets mad and violently taps on the buttons quite often XD

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox controller is already one of my favorites. Going to the Elite 2 really made it feel cheap and that is saying something. It has a quality weight, incredible battery life, and the customization's are something I have wanted for a long time. Worth every dime - I am glad I invested in this - it's incredible.

This controller is definitely..... Elite
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this bad boy. I was hesitant spending that much money on a controller but man, it's worth it. Setting the paddles up for custom use on different games is a breeze. It has greatly improved my play in FPS like Warzone. Feels amazing in the hands. Charge is ridiculously long. I simply love it.

Controller works great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller, no issues with it. I only gave 4 Stars since I purchased an open box excellent and it did not contain the charger for the case or all of the joysticks. My local Best Buy was unable to assist me further.

ALMOST perfect
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is frustrating because it’s so close to being the perfect controller. The build quality feels premium, the customization options are excellent, and the adjustable sticks and triggers make it one of the best-feeling controllers Microsoft has ever made. When it works, it’s genuinely fantastic. The problem is durability. The rear paddles/buttons never felt quite as solid or responsive as they should at this price point, and eventually stick drift became impossible to ignore. That completely killed the long-term value for me. I ultimately switched to a Razer controller instead because it feels beefier, sturdier, and more dependable during long gaming sessions. That said, I still think Microsoft is very close. If an eventual Series 3 improves the rear button design and finally solves the drift issues, it could easily become the best premium controller on the market. As it stands now, it’s a strong controller held back by reliability concerns, which is why I can only give it 3 stars.
