Great but faulty
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second elite series 2 controller I buy and is faulty weeks after purchase. The first one started having a uncontrollable stick drift, this one is having its buttons stuck and also the triggers don’t detect pressure so it’s not any good for racing games, if it wasn’t for those issues it would get 5 stars for the ergonomics and customization.

Get the INSURANCE!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who's bought the Elite controller open box, it wasn't a surprise to find out someone else returned it. This is actually my second one, first was brand new, and unfortunately, I've encountered similar issues with both. After some use, the buttons tend to stick and, frustratingly, they rarely register inputs on both my Xbox and PC. It's disappointing given the premium price tag and the high expectations I had for this controller. While it does offer some nice customization options and a comfortable grip, the reliability just isn't there for me. If you're considering purchasing one, I'd recommend thoroughly testing it out or opting for a different controller altogether to avoid potential headaches down the line. I recommend if you get the insurance as well, at least there’s value in that.

Top-tier controller with premium feel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Elite Series 2 Core controller delivers a fantastic gaming experience. The textured rubber grips feel great in hand, the buttons and sticks are responsive, and the battery life is impressive. Setup on Xbox and PC was seamless. The only caveat is the price — but if you’re serious about your gaming, this controller is a worthy investment. Highly recommend.

Elite Series 2 improved quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this controller for 13 months and it’s still going strong… no stick drift and the sticks still click down when pressed. I bought the 2 year replacement warranty and don’t see any need to replace it yet. The previous version of these controllers didn’t last this long, I would need to replace them within a year. I use it almost every day, for hours at a time.

Good follow up to series 1 but not exactly perfect
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros - Great fit and feel. Easy to use. Long lasting charge. Easy to setup. Cons - still not as hardy as it should be - stick drift happens within a year. Buttons break / wear out within a year.

Wonderful Controller
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller's ergonomics are exceptional, particularly the macro buttons, which facilitate complex command inputs in fighting games. Pairing with my computer was seamless, eliminating any configuration complexities. The weight and grip are ideally balanced and comfortable.

Best Xbox controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best official controller Microsoft has to offer. I love the weight and feel. Only that’s missing his Hall effect sticks. I bought open box and it was missing the tension adjustment tool so I took off 1 star.

Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great idea from Microsoft. Controllers usually last about a year with heavy use, the Xbox elite seem to last longer than that. If yours wears out you can simply buy this swap you thumb sticks and back paddles and save a ton of money doing so. These are great controllers and provide the best bang for your buck, aftermarket scuff parts are also very easy to find. I use this on PC and love it. The only negative is that they do have a bit of stick drift right out of the box, my dead zone had to be set at .08 vs .03 for a brand new scuff, i'm not good enough for that to outweigh $ the savings.

Great Controller.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. It’s great if you already own the elite 2 and have all the extra pieces. It’s easy to map buttons (on PC, I don’t use this with the Xbox) and love all the customization options on it. I’ve had decently good luck with the build quality although I’ve heard the bumpers break often. I would suggest getting a protection plan if you’re using it often, it’s worth it.

Expensive
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though I return this item is an excellent controller it’s really comfortable to hold you get better aim in first person shooter games and the batteries built-in value for what you get high it’s really expensive that’s why I returned it

Awesome controller
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say this controller is the GOAT of controllers, never had any stick drift issues, the battery last weeks if not months no issue and I'm a heavy gamer. Well built and cant take a good fall or two. connectivity is not a issue with this controller and I connect it to multiple devices and it always works. I cant see MS coming out with a 3 sine this one hits all the check marks TBH.

Must buy controller - Must buy protection plan
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GET THE PROTECTION PLAN - DO NOT ARGUE This controller is awesome. Takes time getting used to the paddles, but once you do its a game changer. I just recently returned my old one, using the protection plan, and got a brand new one no questions asked. I have had the Elite and now Elite 2s and have used the protection plan for each. Idk how long people would expect these to last, but I can promise you they won't still work perfectly 2+ years and beyond. The ones I returned started having stick draft and the paddles were spotty after about 8-12 months. Not too severe but enough to make you think maybe it's why you died in warzone that one time. It's at That Exact Point, where you will be happy to have the protection plan / a new controller.

Great upgrade for casual and competitive alike
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So much nicer than stock controller. Custom profiles are a game changer. Takes some getting used to utilizing the paddles but they come in handy in shooters and from software games (dodge roll, jump, heal). All of the materials and options are very nice to have. I recommend buying the service plan as many reports online state the controller can become faulty.

Xbox gamer? This one is for you.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid controller. The battery holds a charge for many playing hours. The customization is unlimited. You can configure to your style of play and the programmable buttons make in game moves almost like cheating.

Gets the job done
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is a game-changer for competitive or enthusiast players who value customization and don't want to take their thumbs off the sticks. However, due to its price and potential quality control issues, it's often recommended to purchase an extended warranty for peace of mind.
