Paddles can't be mapped to keys on PC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm sure this is a nice controller when used on an Xbox, but the whole reason I upgraded to this controller was because I wanted to have the ability to use the additional 4 paddles mapped as keys on a keyboard. After purchasing and setting up, I find out this is not possible, at least not natively. The only thing the paddles can be used for is as a 2nd A/B/X/Y button for 'comfort'. There is an app out there you can buy that supposedly will make this work, but I'm not paying $180 for a controller that won't natively do what it should. Returning.

It doesn’t allow for my own batteries, requires charging of the built in (not replaceable) battery. A money grab by Microsoft. Have had this controller 2 months and my A button is already not functioning 100%, the Y button sticks, the joysticks are walking and the battery is requiring charging each day. First generation controller lasted nearly 3 years before it started walking. Do not waste money on this controller for the paddles alone, look for another option that will warranty longer than 6 months.
