Buttons not reacting to presses and actions all the time. I have one that i still have that works but 2 others for family members did not work correctly right out of the box. This really needs some attention from Microsoft.

Do Not Purchase An Elite Controller From Microsoft

Two defective controllers, and their support system was little to no help. This whole product line has been terrible from Microsoft, with a whole bunch recalled due to analog stick drift previously. Quality control has not improved at all since then. At the very least, Best Buy was great about organizing a product exchange for the first defective one when Microsoft failed to hold up their end of the bargain and the following return of the second defective one. Feel good about buying through Best Buy, but definitely avoid this product.

This is good but for some reason when clicking the left trigger to aim, it clicks in and out on the screen while you’re holding it down.

Poor quality for money

For a $180 controller these should be lasting at least longer than the normal $60 xbox controllers. Started out with returning multiple for out of the box malfunctioning parts. Finally got one in my hands that worked. After a few months of use ran into issues with the LB button registering multiple clicks. Then later on the stick drift came. Poor quality from Microsoft with this controller. Not worth your money.

Not worth it at all

I was getting missed presses all the time so i returned it. Got this elite 2 in black and literally exact same issue. A button was missing presses all the time. I returned for full refund and will not even look into these controllers until they can fix the obvious design flaws.
