It’s a great controller but it should definitely last longer.

Best controller out there for Xboxes or PC useage!

Let’s be fair, the features are phenomenal, everything with it is an upgrade.....ACCEPT for the thumb sticks.... My thumb sticks had input problems after a few months. I’m talking if I moved the stick all the way over, it responded with the SLIGHTEST movement in that direction. A controller at this price should not accumulate wear and tear so easily. MY SERIES 1 controller STILL WORKS, so my guess is it had something to do with the incorporation of TENSION adjustment. Goes to show you why there’s a supply problem, everyone is returning them and getting a second one and then returning it and getting a 3rd and so on. If you got the money, buy 2 if you insist on having the extra features, or find a different option that will last a year (typically I find controllers last a year or so with heavy play) I’m gunna try the FUSION pro and I’ll post a review there after a while.

Controller has been a great purchase, has wireless charging built into the case which is great! Would recommend!

I enjoyed the controller when it worked. But the joy went away when the controller quickly degraded into a hot mess when a nasty dead zone and sticking issue showed up on the left thumb stick. Made games literally unplayable as you couldn’t reliably do the basic necessity of controlling your character/aim. The best part of this was that it happened just outside of the 90 day manufacturer warranty and would cost $100 to send away to Microsoft be repaired or replaced with a refurb. I expected longevity from a $180 controller, similar to my original elite controller I’m still using after buying close to launch. Save your money, or buy an extended warranty and be prepared to send the controller away.

For the record I bought two of these things both “Open-Box Excellent” which is a complete and total lie. Both controllers were shipped with issues. The first, the right trigger didn’t work properly and the second controller the left thumbstick didn’t press down and was jammed. This is beyond disappointing. The fact that these items were “checked”, returned, and labeled without even verifying that they FUNCTION properly. Is so incompetent it borders on fraud. I’m returning these and will never buy anything gaming wise from Best Buy again. As much as I hate Amazon, I’d rather buy from them than deal with the constant scamming from Best Buy, because they’re too lazy to do their jobs properly.

Very good. It was well worth the money. I have had zero issues with it and performs great.

Great congratulations but the protection plan as they do not last long.

I am on my 5th elite controller now. I love how it feels in my hands, the real issue is rb and lb. You can almost guarantee within 3 months they won’t work properly

Got for my son for Christmas. He really enjoys using it

This remote offers great competitive play, as a halo guardians player this remote has granted me the edge over players that don’t own one. However after a month of use it started drifting and within days of drift it became unplayable now I have to wait for weeks without a remote and unable to play during this strictly at home pandemic going on. I don’t recommend the geek squad warranty I recommend sending to manufacturers as I have already payed 120$ within last 3 months just on returning and repurchasing warranty. Walmart offers 16$ for 2 year protection rather than 60$ of Best Buy. Best Buy geek squad warranty will void once item is returned and you will need to purchase a new one please be aware of this.

10/10 would recommend. Solid construction. Compatible with the SeriesX/S. Literally can’t go wrong.
