Trash Controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great look, but poor product. Pretty heavy for a gaming controller and the pieces tend to fall apart after a while. Buttons get stuck easy and definitely not worth the money. Don't waste your money on this.

Worse than the standard Xbox controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is by far worse than the standard controllers for both the Xbox one and series S/X. Mine had horrible right stick drift after using it for about a week, a problem that I have yet to experience on the standard series X controller. You don’t have to look very far to find people complaining of many other serious quality issues with this controller. For example there’s a problem with the glue that holds the bump stops for the triggers failing and causing the bump stop to slip out of place which results in the trigger sticking when it’s fully pressed. Some have also experienced the issue of the joysticks occasionally sticking at max travel. Lots of complaints of the buttons sometimes not registering input as well as a standard controller does, which I also experienced. Overall, this controller is undeniably of poor quality and clearly a way for Microsoft to get more money out of people who just want a controller that’s better quality than the regular one.

Great controller, not a long life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller is excellent. The purpose of the low rating is the lifespan of the item. The controller is plagued by a number of hardware issues that once any one of them present themselves the excellent piece of hardware drops to poor very quickly. Having gone through a dead left bumper, dying right bumper, stuck right trigger and a drifting right stick this once excellent piece of equipment is no longer usable.

LB button stopped working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 6 months of ownership, LB button stopped working. Good controller, but not made to last. Stick to cheaper controllers.

Problems right away.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought an open box (excellent condition) elite controller. Right out of the box it had stick drift and thankfully I was able to go back in person and get a new one but this was still a little inconvenient for me.

Drift issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Playstation controllers lasted much longer. After two years (just as my protection plan ended), I started getting drift issues with the controller. For the price of this thing, would have expected it to be more durable. When it did work, I liked using it, but that doesn't matter much if the thing is broken.

Skipping buttons
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Off center or shallow button presses will not register. This was present in all three of the controllers I bought. Frustrating if you’re trying to play anything even remotely demanding. Seems like a fundamental design flaw.

Controller WAS great.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right after my 1 year extended warranty ran out. The controller started having a drift issue. If you Google search this issue, you can see a lot of people have the same problem. They want to charge me $99 to fix this issue. Absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend buying this controller.

Buy with warranty if you dare consider buying!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned 1+2 both fell apart within months with thumbsticks messing up or bumpers breaking. paddles stopped working. The things fixed on series 2 at least for me were grips and bumpers. Other than that just be ready to replace the controller and deal with the hassle. I would say this is the best place to buy it with a warranty.

Controller review
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its great, but because of the fact that i play competitively and want the most in terms of input delay, im going to have to rate it a 2/5 because of the locked 8 ms delay it has compared to a PS4’s 1ms delay response time

Poor Build Quality - Defective out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappointed at the shoddy attention to quality. New model has a defective left thumb-stick out of the box (neither registers a button press in the accessories “test app” nor a tactile “click” when depressed. I expect far more than this from a product at a “premium” price point.

Cheaply made and will not last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Controllers do not hold up to being used on a regular basis, even though you pay for the extended warranty. If you return it to Best Buy you loose 70& every time you return it in even if it is only 4 months old. So at this pace you will spend 210$ a year to use the warranty

Great at first, but starts failing quickly.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Please stay away from this controller. I assumed because it was Microsoft brand and a high price it would be durable. To be clear, when it worked I loved it. But that only lasted a couple months. Just google "elite series 2 bumper fix" and you will see how many people have issues with this controller. Light use and I had the same bumper issue. It quickly got so bad that I only use this controller if all my standard xbox controllers are dead. Very disappointing.

Hard Pass for PC gamers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is a joke on PC. Constant issues with bluetooth paring. I have to delete and re-add the controller virtually every time I use it. Stick drift in less than a year. Save your money and look elsewhere for your PC gaming needs.

Wireless does not work with Windows PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the title says, does not work in wireless mode with Windows PC. I've spent hours on microsoft forums and Reddit trying workarounds but just can not get this controller to function correctly in wireless mode and it seems to be a common problem with no support from microsoft. Controller works great when plugged in directly and I was really impressed with the physical build quality. Unfortunately there's no way to get it working properly over bluetooth. The closest I can get is an ALMOST functional controller where the "A" button also opens the xbox overlay (making it pretty impossible to actually use for gaming. A few friends bought the non-elite xbox one controllers on the same day, they've had no issues. Unfortunate that microsoft isn't supporting such a beautifully engineered product, but save your money and stick with a standard xbox one controller.

Bad Product, Worse Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a very bad experience trying to purchase this product, and then an even worse experience trying to use it. It took three attempts to purchase this product, stretching over three weeks. From being misled by a Sales Rep, to an order being sent to the wrong store, to items taking 14 days to deliver, to finally being told there have been several in stock. Now that I am attempting to set up the product, I am unable to do so. Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't offer any phone or live chat support in this process. I have ended up spending twice as much as I thought on this product and it doesn't even do what it had advertised.

Do not buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my controller for about 6ish months and the build quality itself is good, but right after buying I had watched a video about it and herd about the RB LB problems and at first it was fine then about a month month and a half ago the RB started going unresponsive and it just got to the point a few days ago that it completely stoped working and i play games like fortnite and COD so the RB is necessary and the fact that it doesn’t work and is a problem that is extremely common to come right out of the box is sad dont waste your money buy a SCUF there better or if you want to use one from micrsoft buy a normal controller for 50 buck PLEASE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE
