Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the product's great overall performance, impressive battery life, and extensive customization options. They also frequently praise its comfortable grip, good weight, and responsive feel. However, a significant number of customers have reported issues with stick drift developing quickly and concerns regarding the durability of the buttons, including the bumpers. Despite some initial hesitation about the price, the positive attributes like its overall comfort and useful paddles generally contribute to a positive user experience.

Yeah it's expensive. However, in this case the extra cost bring extra value. I've tried several controllers near this price range and this is undoubtedly the best. The extra paddles are the real thing and if you're into mmos or even FPS on console this will be a real asset. It just feels solid in your hand. Too many positives to list.

Pros - Great fit and feel. Easy to use. Long lasting charge. Easy to setup. Cons - still not as hardy as it should be - stick drift happens within a year. Buttons break / wear out within a year.

Even though I return this item is an excellent controller it’s really comfortable to hold you get better aim in first person shooter games and the batteries built-in value for what you get high it’s really expensive that’s why I returned it

I love how it feels and the case you get with it is good for traveling and it has different attachments for your controller. Only bad thing is the price but what you get with makes it worth it.

This is the second elite series 2 controller I buy and is faulty weeks after purchase. The first one started having a uncontrollable stick drift, this one is having its buttons stuck and also the triggers don’t detect pressure so it’s not any good for racing games, if it wasn’t for those issues it would get 5 stars for the ergonomics and customization.

Must buy controller - Must buy protection plan

GET THE PROTECTION PLAN - DO NOT ARGUE This controller is awesome. Takes time getting used to the paddles, but once you do its a game changer. I just recently returned my old one, using the protection plan, and got a brand new one no questions asked. I have had the Elite and now Elite 2s and have used the protection plan for each. Idk how long people would expect these to last, but I can promise you they won't still work perfectly 2+ years and beyond. The ones I returned started having stick draft and the paddles were spotty after about 8-12 months. Not too severe but enough to make you think maybe it's why you died in warzone that one time. It's at That Exact Point, where you will be happy to have the protection plan / a new controller.

This was the one I swapped the blue controller with that was definitely a refurbished being sold as new. This on had no paddle presets, xbox light is bright and it was 100% clean. I just didn't want white because it gets dirty faster but it was the only other one available besides the normal elite series 2 for $200. Other then that great controller and it works just like the normal elite 2s. Very happy with the product and that it was new and not used.

I can’t give to much detail as I only had the controller for a week but I ordered an open box excellent condition, but was sent a controller in “good” condition. The b button did not work and the key to tighten and loosen the thumb sticks was not included and they were tightened to the point that they were stiff. I ended up returning it because I spent $100 on a controller that was unusable and not what I’d ordered.

This is a great idea from Microsoft. Controllers usually last about a year with heavy use, the Xbox elite seem to last longer than that. If yours wears out you can simply buy this swap you thumb sticks and back paddles and save a ton of money doing so. These are great controllers and provide the best bang for your buck, aftermarket scuff parts are also very easy to find. I use this on PC and love it. The only negative is that they do have a bit of stick drift right out of the box, my dead zone had to be set at .08 vs .03 for a brand new scuff, i'm not good enough for that to outweigh $ the savings.

I like many features about this but there are some things I wish I could further tweak. Pros: - So much button and stick customization - RGB light behind Xbox logo - Metal D-pad and back button triggers - Quality feel - Rubber grips do a good job of helping with “sweaty palm syndromes” by being a quick drying grid style rubber Cons: - Much heavier than any custom controller I’ve ever owned - Not personally a fan of back button trigger placement/configuration - RGB light not very vibrant or as expansive in colors available as it likes to advertise I think overall I’m happy with the purchase, but I don’t think I’ll buy it again. I will wait for what they make next or seek a different brand.

This was a gift purchase for my son, he is pretty anti-xbox controller but I convinced him it is more comfortable than being tethered to the PC with his PS5 controller. He enjoys it and no stick drift as of yet.

As someone who's bought the Elite controller open box, it wasn't a surprise to find out someone else returned it. This is actually my second one, first was brand new, and unfortunately, I've encountered similar issues with both. After some use, the buttons tend to stick and, frustratingly, they rarely register inputs on both my Xbox and PC. It's disappointing given the premium price tag and the high expectations I had for this controller. While it does offer some nice customization options and a comfortable grip, the reliability just isn't there for me. If you're considering purchasing one, I'd recommend thoroughly testing it out or opting for a different controller altogether to avoid potential headaches down the line. I recommend if you get the insurance as well, at least there’s value in that.

I recently bought the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller from Best Buy, and it's fantastic for PC gaming. The rubberized grips are incredibly comfortable, making long sessions a breeze. With excellent customization options and responsive controls, this controller is a great investment for serious gamers. Highly recommend!

I like these controllers alot because the battery last forever and the build quality is strong, but the best part is the customizable functions that makes Elite. Having this control much control can give you an advantage during certain games.
