Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the product's great overall performance, excellent battery life, and extensive customization options. They frequently praise its comfortable feel, good weight, and comfortable grip. However, a significant concern raised by users is the issue of stick drift, which appears to develop quickly. Additionally, some customers have experienced problems with button quality and found the price to be a point of hesitation.

The sense of touch is great, also is the material and controlling. However, I still need to buy an extra adapter to connect the controller, which is a little ridiculous since it is a 180 dollars product.

It's a little heavy but it's built so much better than Scuf or any other controllers out there. I love this controller

Overpriced and overrated. It comes with a nice case and has a nice comfortable design but also has terrible functionality. The buttons aren’t always responsive and usually have to be pressed hard enough to register. No light tapping. I don’t play FPS games so the back buttons were useless to me. Taking this back for a refund.

I had the controller for 4 months before the left trigger stopped fully depressing. Microsoft was horrible to work with when trying to fix my controller.

Right bumper button does not work since the moment I brought it home. Addicted to gaming so I kept it and I use the paddles instead.

I've gone through 3 of these controllers and they all worked great for awhile, but then bumper issues started. Always buy the protection plan!!!!

It's hit or miss with these you either get a decent one or one with a flaw. Don't get me wrong it's a really nice controller but the not really reliable to a extent.

They don’t make controllers like they use too, even the high end ones. Feels nice, but very disappointed in how long they last, on my secound one.

Sticks became loose and got stuck drift quickly. Lot of slop in the sticks because of the magnetic system used.

Kinda odd it doesn’t come with the back paddles even but the controller overall just is not great. Bad grip and the stock thumb-sticks come off too easily. Customer service was great though

I’ve already had to ship of the controller for a replacement due to a sticky right bumper. Microsoft did replace it but I had to send the controller back first and wait for a replacement.

Whether you get the elite or a standard controller expect something to be wrong with it the minute you take it out of the box. Over the past year I had to return 12 controllers from various retailers because there was some manufacture defect with it. Whether it was a button not registering a input or a analog stick drifting you will probably notice it right out of the box or within a few weeks of owning one and the elite 2 is no exception. You have been warned future buyers.
