    Digging the new features

I had two original Elite Controllers. I enjoyed the feel and the features but had quite a few issues with the bumpers on my first one and the second one I had started having issues with the left stick drifting a lot. Since I had the warranty plan I brought it back and upgraded to the Series 2, It feels like they upgraded the shape and it feels better than the one. The grips also feel better and seem like they have less chance of peeling off as it did with my first Elite. The shape and placement of the top paddles feel better. My favorite new feature is the extra setting on the triggers. Great for FPS and other games where it's nice to just have a quick click rather than a long pull. I also recommend the Best Buy warranty with a controller this expensive. Sure it's more expensive on an already expensive controller but paying the extra money now is worth it to be able to upgrade to a new controller down the road if needed.

    It's great, but overpriced

I like it a lot, but I feel like it was overpriced, even though it's being sold as a premium product. I really like the extra buttons on the back, and the fact that you can reprogram all the buttons. The extra long thumb stick is nice for extra precision. It feels good in the hands. It's heavier than the stock controllers, but not so much that it gets tiring to hold. The adjustable trigger travel distance is cool for shooters where you have to react quickly. The rubberized hand grips feel nice and keep my hands relatively cool. It comes with a nice zippered travel case with a built-in charging dock that can be used while it's in the case, or it can be removed from the case and used separately to charge the controller. I don't plan to take this anywhere, but I keep it in the case, next to my TV. I leave it closed, but unzipped, so it's still easy to access, but it keeps it from getting dust on it (I don't get time to play as often as I would like) Overall, if you play a lot of Xbox, it's probably a worthwhile investment.

I baught this open box and the only thing that works is the battery life the buttons work for about 5 minutes and then it just stops working and you can’t click anything and it starts clicking stuff on its own.

This controller is a must for anyone serious about gaming. Made with much higher quality parts than the standard controller. You can feel the weight. The additional paddle controls make it great for adding a jump button so you don't have to take your thumb off the air stick.

BUY THIS CONTROLLER IF YOU WANT MOUSE-BUTTON

So far, the stick-drift hasn't killed the first one I've bought. The ability to configure and change the buttons to how you want is great. The mouse-button-click for the triggers are the best for me. And they are considerably cheaper than controllers with the same king of ideas/implementations. I do wish that Microsoft offered more colors than just 3, or the ability to change the faceplates to the color(s) that you'd want.

I'm not a huge gamer that uses the extra paddles. However, the controller is really comfortable and nice to use. The trigger locks are even nice to experiment with in between games. However, I've heard of a couple people that have had problems with theirs right out of the box. So, if you get one that has everything working you should enjoy it.

Great battery life, wireless charging is amazing, and the comfort of the grips makes the controller that much better. It is much lighter than the previous elite controllers and also offers 3 user profile settings. Easy to remove paddles and improved trigger adjustments. Well worth the price!

Let me start with the positives. The magnetic analog sticks are extremely nice and easy to change, the trigger settings are also easy to use and a welcome feature, and the paddles are well placed and customizable. The controller feels premium in your hands as well. The problem is there is a noticeable amount of stick drift, the pads on the switches for the triggers are coming off, and the controller gets very warm in your hands making them sweat. Also the A,B,X, and Y buttons just don't register sometimes leading to multiple presses being required. For the price point these issues shouldn't be there. I would recommend getting a scuff controller if you're looking in this price range.

Amazing controller overall. had it for 2 months and i do say it is durable since i do have a little sister who touches everything and is able to starch on things easily. i feel like there's drift at times but you can configure the controller to no do so. it's very versatile and i recommend it for its fast set up

Comparing this with the series X stock controller. A significant improvement. Good quality weight. Quality metal used. I do wish there were resistive triggers like on the PS5 or a Taptic Engine instead of a traditional vibration motor, but still a fantastic, click controller.

I love this controller. It looks and feels like a quality piece of kit. Sadly as good as it is I find it breaks often. Definitely recommend getting a replacement warranty on this controller. I expect a controller to fail eventually but this thing always has a failure within a year. I’m by no means hard on my controller either I in fact take great care of my stuff. For nearly $200 I’d like this thing to not have a back button that fails to register after 6 months of use. I still rate it high because it is arguably one of the best controllers ever made but it seems they cheaped out on some components.

Great! Just understand what it is you’re getting. This is a USB C rechargeable controller. The DPad and triggers are different. It comes with sliders on the bottom of the controller to adjust how quickly the left and right triggers are pulled. But that is the extend of the controller. The more expensive elite controller 2 comes with a charging case AND the paddles, while this controller does seem to support the paddles, it does not come with paddles or many (if any at all) other thumbsticks. The other thing I’ve noticed is some games are built for the regular Xbox controller, so even if you can pull the trigger faster, due to game mechanics, it won’t matter what your reaction time is.
