I got lucky because I bought it as Open Box, but it works perfect. Tip: if you get one open box try it with the Xbox Accessory app and see if there is any issue with it, if there is return it ASAP, if not enjoy cause it's amazing!

The controller started sticking on the trigger and buttons, and I was getting more time on competitive Destiny 2 so I said "what the heck...let's bite the bullet and see". This Elite controller is cheating. Period. By all measures higher quality. You will have trouble getting used to the paddles, but keep on it. Enjoy playing competitive SIGNIFICANTLY more. Would/will buy again in the future, which I hope is a while away based on the build quality.

Much improved over the first one

The rubber grips would peel up after a few months and on one the sticks became very loose to the point where if you turned the control upside down they would move out a quarter of an inch. Luckily I had Geek Squad protection so when these issues came up I was able to get a replacement. So far with the Series 2 I have had none of these issues. I have put several hundred outs on this controller and it is still as solid as the day I bought it. The built in battery is nice too and lasts a very long time between charges.

Amazing controller if you're going pro

The controller is great, at first the diamond textured grips felt wierd but i got used to it. I have been using this non stop and the best part is I barely have to charge it. I played games for an entire week on one battery charge which to me is pretty outstanding. And the adjustable control sticks just make it all come together. Whatever game I choose to play the sticks are able to support the comfort and usefulness that i look for. I highly recommend this as a pick up.
