Really just a standard controller with glorified paddles. In fact, there's even a reduction of some features on this version on the controller. No share button and cheap shallow plastic clicky buttons for example. I've even had to send my Black Elite Series 2 in for repairs twice. Faulty bumper, faulty paddle. For the money, you could get an infinitely nicer controller from another brand. I'd feel comfortable paying about $80 for one of these, considering the warranty and features. Anything more and you're better off buying something else.

I really like this controller the texture is amazing the paddles are comfy on my fingers it rarely needs to be charged and it’s just all around a great product

I initially fell in love with the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller for its premium feel and the added customization options it brought to my gaming experience. The tactile feedback, adjustable thumbstick tension, and extra buttons were all features that greatly enhanced my gameplay, especially in competitive titles. However, my enthusiasm took a hit when I encountered control drift issues. It became increasingly frustrating as the controller started registering movement on its own, affecting my gameplay significantly. This was unexpected and disappointing, especially given the high price point of the controller. Fortunately, the controller was still under warranty, and Microsoft's customer service came through by providing a replacement. It's worth noting that this issue should ideally not have arisen, considering the premium nature of the controller and the fact that the standard controller works reliably. Despite the hiccup, the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, when functioning correctly, offers an exceptional gaming experience. Just be aware of the potential control drift issue and ensure you're covered by warranty in case you encounter it.

I’ve had this control for the last 6 years but I have replaced it every 2 years. One of the bumpers go out on it every year & a half or so. Other than that I have no issues whatsoever. Great control, but the 2 year warranty is necessary for the replacement.

0 issues after several months usingbthis controller nearly every day. 10x better than the standard controller. I use scuf paddles with it. The custom mapping with the 3 presets is great if you like having different mapping for different games.

Feels good in hand buttons are smooth.. Definitely improves the way tpu play..

Great purchase! I love this controller, I’ve owned many Xbox, (one and more than a few) Xbox Series x controllers and this is my favorite. I had the first elite controller years ago and I love how customizable it is and just has great responsiveness to it. The open box was a great buy and great condition. I can’t wait to see if I can find a monitor now!

Excellent controller a little too expensive but everything is now a days. Has a very solid feel and easy to swap out other attachments.

Works great. A little getting used to. No immediate drift that I’ve noticed. Really like that it’s heavier than the original controller
