My husband sits fairly close to his console and constantly has issues. There’s no interference, it’s up to date. Have tried syncing it again. For the price, this shouldn’t be an issue. Joystick buttons are very delicate magnets, easy to come off, beware if you have small children around.

I love the back paddles and the variable trigger pulls. I still get tagged in 30 seconds in Halo by 12 year olds who play 8 hours a day but I feel like I'm more competitive and because it's a bit pricey, I'm less likely to fling it across the room in anger . . . at least I hope I'm less likely.
